DNC Refused to Give FBI Access to Its Servers … Instead Gave Access to a DNC Consultant Tied to Organization Promoting Conflict with Russia

CNN reports:

The Democratic National Committee “rebuffed” a request from the FBI to examine its computer services after it was allegedly hacked by Russia during the 2016 election, a senior law enforcement official told CNN Thursday.

“The FBI repeatedly stressed to DNC officials the necessity of obtaining direct access to servers and data, only to be rebuffed until well after the initial compromise had been mitigated,” a senior law enforcement official told CNN. “This left the FBI no choice but to rely upon a third party for information.

The FBI instead relied on the assessment from a third-party security company called CrowdStrike.

As first reported by George Eliason, CrowdStrike’s Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder Dimitri Alperovitch – who wrote the CrowdStrike reports allegedly linking Russia to the Democratic party emails published by Wikileaks – is a fellow at the Atlantic Council … an organization associated with Ukraine, and whose main policy goal seems to stir up a confrontation with Russia. [1].

The Nation writes:

In late December, Crowdstrike released a largely debunked report claiming that the same Russian malware that was used to hack the DNC has been used by Russian intelligence to target Ukrainian artillery positions. Crowdstrike’s co-founder and chief technology officer, Dmitri Alperovitch, told PBS, “Ukraine’s artillery men were targeted by the same hackers…that targeted DNC, but this time they were targeting cellphones [belonging to the Ukrainian artillery men] to try to understand their location so that the Russian artillery forces can actually target them in the open battle.”

Dmitri Alperovitch is also a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council.

The connection between Alperovitch and the Atlantic Council has gone largely unremarked upon, but it is relevant given that the Atlantic Council—which is funded in part by the US State Department, NATO, the governments of Latvia and Lithuania, the Ukrainian World Congress, and the Ukrainian oligarch Victor Pinchuk—has been among the loudest voices calling for a new Cold War with Russia. As I pointed out in the pages of The Nation in November, the Atlantic Council has spent the past several years producing some of the most virulent specimens of the new Cold War propaganda.

It would seem then that a healthy amount of skepticism toward a government report that relied, in part, on the findings of private-sector cyber security companies like Crowdstrike might be in order.

The Atlantic Council is also funded by the U.S. military and the largest defense contractors, including:

  • United States Army
  • United States Navy
  • United States Air Force
  • United States Marines
  • Lockheed Martin
  • Raytheon
  • Northrop Grumman
  • Boeing

[1]  Here’s an example of the Atlantic Council’s bellicose rhetoric from July 2016:

Poland should announce that it reserves the right to deploy offensive cyber operations (and not necessarily in response just to cyber attacks).  The authorities could also suggest potential targets, which could include the Moscow metro, the St. Petersburg power network, and Russian state-run media outlets such as RT.

So, the DNC and it’s allies in the CIA are willing to go to war with a nuclear power to avoid transparency and openness? Trump should announce that ALL RNC emails / plans and communications will be public from now on. Truth and transparency are GOOD.

Trump should tweet: “When it comes to elections, transparency and truth are good, secrets are bad.” He should get a bill introduced making it illegal for any political party to keep secrets.

Why?? So that Democrats have good ideas to steal?
Just want the crimes that have been uncovered be charged and convicted to the maximum allowed by law. They certainly have plenty of evidence.

The US government has no transparency whatsoever. The WMD in Iraq incident wasn’t the first fabricated false flag or fabricated evidence. This has been going on since WW2 ended. The MSM covers for them and ignores it while people are dumb down on the topic. This is fairly dangerous considering they could spark a nuclear confrontation with Russia using false flags or fabricated evidence. Without the people’s support, they can’t accomplish that, so expect these corruption politicians to press on with the fabricated evidence and propaganda of “Russian aggression.” They want Americans to support them in a full on war with Russia. That’s why they have been circling Russia with bases and missiles in a prelude to a nuclear confrontation. Putin seems to be right when he claims that these ABM sites are benefit NATO in an preemptive strike. This is getting very dangerous considering many countries’ government reports have published reports about going to war with Russia. UK, Poland, Lithuania, USA etc have all had contracted intelligence agencies and government agencies publishing prediction reports on going to war with Russia. These warmongering politicians are 100% craving for a war and provoking Russia for a war. I have no doubt it that considering the facts that supports my theory. There’s something they’re not telling the American people. It could be anything from economic collapse, petro-dollar instability, global market dominance failure etc. The USA is has 40% less market shares around the world compared to 40-50 years ago. Only the people can prevent WW3. Trump is one man going against many warmongers, so my faith in him isn’t high. They will try everything to remove him

Is CrowdStrike a real company or just a fake one like the fake dating website that the Clinton team invented to attack Julian Assange and Wikileaks?

The FBI & CIA have such a history of corruption, incompetence, and screw-up failures how can anyone believe anything they say? MANY books have been written about how foul they both are. Their malfeasance and misfeasance is legendary . they are a “Continuing Criminal Enterprise” and they do not work for America.
Every person clamoring for war should be PUT in the front lines. Every time some clown agitates for military action demand THEY pick up a rifle and lead the charge.
“US Officials Say Russia Approval of Trump Win Is ‘Evidence’ of Hacking” ……. really? Then ISRAELI approval of the US response to the 9/11 WTC attacks is PROOF of Israeli complicity in the attacks.

I make my living as a consultant in the field of information security. I can tell you that attribution, the act of tying a specific individual or individuals to an event like this is very difficult. It’s difficult if you have physical possession of the computer or device that initiated the attack. If you do NOT have access to that device, it’s DAMN NEAR IMPOSSIBLE, to attribute the event to a person or persons.

The Atlantic Council also includes members of journalists around the world that works for the organization. Among them is the founder of the BellingCat that regularly writes about Ukraine and anti-Russia rethoric. This is the same guy who was living in his mom’s basement basically and unemployed. He gain attention when he used the Internet open source to write stories about MH-17 demonizing Russia. Majority of his articles are bias. Before that he was not part of the Atlantic Council. Now he claims to have a career traveling the world “training journalists” about the method he uses. His kickstarter campaign and other “donations” exceeded $100k as well. In other words, the BellyCat guy is a paid NATO propagandists. This is the same guy who was caught photoshopping photos from MH-17. His propaganda is regularly quoted by the MSM and Washington Post. Of course, I’m sure he receives a commission for fabricating these sources for the corporate media to use. Groups like Aleppo Media Center, White Helmet, IRC etc in Syria serve the same purpose. They are created to spread propaganda. Most of which criticizes Russia or the Syrian government. These groups have been caught red handed in fabricating evidence and even fake rescue videos. The Bellycat guy self proclaims himself as being an “intelligence analyst and an weapons expert.” For someone that lives in a country that is anti-guns for civilians, he clearly has no firearms training. Every source he uses comes from browsing the Internet and using the search engines. It’s funny considering his analysis of weapons includes military anti tank guided missiles and other non civilian firearms. He has no military experience, but this is the title he gives himself. On top of that, he claims to be doing this for years. Yet, he was noticed when his propaganda fitted NATO’s agenda. His work is 1 sided. People like this fat guy are cashing in on corruption and imperialism. He claims his work is in “high demand.” He does what everyone who doesn’t depend on the MSM has been doing for years except his one sided work fits the MSM’s agenda
