The Truth About Fake News

Words and image by Anthony Freda,

The discredited mainstream media who have spread propaganda and lies causing the needless death and suffering of millions are now arrogantly trying to censor the alternative media who are working to expose their lies and save lives.

History has proven that the corporate/state media is the truly dangerous and deceptive “news”.

The irony is that alternative news sites would never have become popular if the mainstream media had not failed humanity by lying to us from Vietnam to Iraq.

They have the blood of millions on their hands and are panicking at the thought of brave whistleblowers and real investigative journalists exposing their crimes.

Of course there are fake stories in alternative media. It takes very little discernment to debunk these obvious frauds.

It’s like getting an email from a Nigerian prince who promises you millions. It does not take a genius to figure out it’s a scam.

We don’t need truth police censoring information the establishment does not like.

We need an honest fourth ward to speak truth to power, but they had their chance and blew it.

Now it’s our turn.

The age of the citizen journalist is here.

The age of the dinosaur media is done, and thank God for it.

9/23/1975 Tom Charles Huston Church Committee Testimony

Tom Charles Huston testified before the Senate Select Committee to Study Governmental Operations with Respect to Intelligence Activities, commonly known as the Church Committee, on the 43-page plan he presented to the President Nixon and others on ways to collect information about anti-war and “radical” groups, including burglary, electronic surveillance, and opening of mail.

Since the end of World War Two the Central Intelligence Agency has been a major force in US and foreign news media, exerting considerable influence over what the public sees, hears and reads on a regular basis. CIA publicists and journalists alike will assert they have few, if any, relationships, yet the seldom acknowledged history of their intimate collaboration indicates a far different story–indeed, one that media historians are reluctant to examine.

They must absolutely loath, hate, abhor & detest, the internet, because it’s much much harder (if not impossible) to control. I hardly ever watch the liberal controlled mainstream so-called “media”. I get at least 99% of my news off the internet, & I often try to verify stories by checking multiple sites.

“lying to us from Vietnam to Iraq”
lying to us from Vietnam to Syria…

    • Pretty much. Jun. 14, 2012 These 6 Corporations Control 90% Of The Media In America

That’s consolidated from 50 companies back in 1983. But the fact that a few companies own everything demonstrates “the illusion of choice,” Frugal Dad says. While some big sites, like Digg and Reddit aren’t owned by any of the corporations, Time Warner owns news sites read by millions of Americans every year.

      • Handy Jay

That all depends on your definition of “media”. Personally, I barely watch the liberal controlled, so-called “mainstream media”. I get 99% of my news off the internet….and the news I do get, I try to verify by checking multiple sites.

Frankly, that story from that source is probably about bragging at the success of a sect in their propaganda efforts. Remember that Business Insider is owned by a racist, corrupt, German sect (Axel Springer Verlag) that requires its employees to swear allegiance to Israel.

Lying about Israel. Lying about Korea. Lying about Pearl Harbor. Lying about the Lusitania. Lying about the Maine. Is there a trend here?

If the State had its way, we would have no Internet, and we would only hear PR 24/7. I digress the move towards control of information sounds very similar to China’s Communist Party’s Central Propaganda Department (CPD), under the State Council Information Office, this is what our State would love. From offices such as the above the State could then issue directives, and Journalist could not release important information without consent, and they could also block certain media and internet sites, this is what any good Statist needs for his tool bag. Long live the State..

    • diogenes

The state created the internet, and one thing it’s REAL good at is surveillance. No more steaming open letters.

      • Sister Jane

Yup there is that, now all they need is a little more control of it, and control of most of the input and output of it, their working on it. They’ll probably get what they want given enough time and long lasting PR to make everybody believe it was the right thing to do, their good at manipulation too. The longest running example of manipulation is the US of A, it was founded as a Republic and now they’ve got everybody believing it was a Democracy.

  • David Schultz

I should give you a spoiler alert first.

Eventually you will find that it is all fake.

    • diogenes

Yes, we need to consider what proportion of “alternative” sites are cover operations. Usually it’s not that hard to tell — for the skeptical. But skepticism is what mass media, educrats, and fake alternatives all labor hard to quash. And successfully. Remember The Magic Bullet. No, better still, forget it.

  • Spot on!

    Well said. Thanks. W.B.

Delusional left-wing liberals, radical 3rd-wave feminists, & SJW extremists, have composed a “list” of so-called “fake” news sites. In reality, it’s a list of sites the oppose left-wing liberalism, opposition to SJW extremism, BLM, radical 3rd-wave feminism, etc. They’re pushing Google & Yahoo! to remove the sites from their search engines. Left-wing liberal lunacy at it’s finest. Search engines shouldn’t be biased & politicized.
Libtards want to make the entire internet a “safe space”. It’s gotten to the point where we need 2 types of search engines. 1 for left-wing liberal extremists, & 1 of everyone else/the normal people.
