“Hillary Clinton Is Evil!”

“Why I Won’t Vote for Hillary Clinton | Evan Edinger” (but then he changes his mind on that)

TO CLOSE: Evan Edlinger will vote for Hillary against Trump because he thinks that whereas Hillary’s actual track-record of policies (not mere statements) in public office have been horrific, Trump’s bad statements and lack of any track-record in public office at all, make Trump even worse. That’s what he thinks. I think it makes Trump better — the better choice — as opposed to the proven evil and catastrophically harmful public official, Hillary Clinton. Edlinger is preferring an evil record as a public official, to no record as a public official. Edlinger fails to make two crucial distinctions: One is that he fails to distinguish between mere political statements, versus actual political policies carried out as a public official (which show Hillary to be a proven neocon and tool of Wall Street); and the other is his failing to distinguish between a bad record in a person’s private or business affairs, versus a bad record as an actual public official. Only the bad record as a public official should be absolutely disqualifying — and that’s Clinton, not Trump, who has a horrific record as a public official. Trump has no record at all as a public official. Edlinger at 1:30 in his video says that when he contemplates voting for Hillary,”There’s always one thing that comes in the way, and that’s trust.” He says he doesn’t trust her — but what he doesn’t actually “trust” is her words; when he says he’ll vote for her, he’s simply ignoring her actions, he’s ignoring the real person-as-a-public-official, the person who is shown and displayed beyond any reasonable doubt whatsoever. Proven selfishness in one’s private life is bad, but proven selfishness and evil in one’s public-office policies (such as “We came, we saw, he died. Ha, ha!”) is utterly disqualifying. I argued in my “I’m a Bernie Sanders Voter: Here’s Why I’ll Vote Trump”, that Trump could possibly turn out to be a progressive President; but, even if he turns out to be a bad President, he won’t, on balance, be as horrific as will a President Hillary Clinton. With Trump, there is reason to have some hope for the future of the world; with Clinton, there is reason to expect unprecedented horrors.

Soros-Linked Voting Machines Cause Concern Over Rigged Election

A U.K. based company that has provided voting machines for 16 states, including important battleground states like Florida and Arizona, has direct ties with billionaire leftist and Clinton crusader George Soros.

you suffer from either a breathtaking naivete or a deep-seated agenda/mental disorder which allows you to suppress the memory of obvious fraud which took place just a few months ago. (what’s the final primary total in california? how come it’s missing ~2 million ballots?)

why do you think your vote for trump will be counted accurately? all the evidence suggests that your trip to the polls will be an exercise in make-believe of the highest order.

if you’d like an example of real journalism in action try this: How California is being stolen from Sanders right now

It gets far worse. There are simply not enough “crossover” ballots printed. If they run out of ballots, Carter his telling voters to demand a recorded vocal vote using the voice recorders set up for the disabled.

Unfortunately, the games hardly end there. Election Justice filed still more declarations with the courts of poll workers being told to give NPP voters “provisional” ballots even if they say the magic words, “I want a crossover Democratic ballot.” As I’ve previously reported, provisional ballots are “placebo” ballots that let you feel like you’ve voted, but you haven’t. Provisional ballots are generally discarded.

Most of this procedural nonsense, like the need to surrender an NPP ballot with an envelope and request a “crossover” ballot – well, frankly, Bernie’s campaign has known about that all year.

The Sanders campaign was spending time talking policy at giant rallies instead of educating their voters on how to vote. In the rat maze called the American voting system, the painfully amateur Sanders campaign never provided a vote-guiding map.

was sanders really a contender? doubtful. is trump?

I will add two more reasons to this, in more detail, the protection of the 1st and 2nd Amendments. I am seriously scared of a Hillary presidency. She really seems to loath anyone who questions her. Of course she has the mainstream corporate press under her control, but not the alternative media. She will go after the latter if she is elected, I guarantee it. https://freedomfromconscience.wordpress.com/2016/09/15/232/

Yeah, people say they will will vote for HRC because she has “experience”, as opposed to Trump having none. And they say this as if it is a good enough reason in and of itself, with no consideration of her record or apparent agenda. Of course they are lying. They want to hide that they are voting the status quo, and doing so because they believe voting the status quo is the right thing to do. It’s not, but it is the safe to do.

    Excellent list. Thanks.

re: #’s 7 and 8: voting trump because of climate change is akin to putting the oompa loompas in charge of your child’s dental health.

ps: how can one take zuesse seriously if he doesn’t demand election monitors and coast to coast exit polls? a few days ago he bannered: How the 2004 Presidential ‘Election’ Was Stolen by George W. Bush.

today, however, it’s back to ‘vote diebold’.

    • Eric Zuesse

Your criticizing me because I don’t “demand” election monitors and coast to coast exist polls, is stupid. I wish I could! (But especially, I wish I could demand nationwide laws requiring that all voting be done on voter-verified-and-accepted paper ballots, so that recounts are possible and the recounts will be of ballots that were approved by the voter prior to being dropped in the ballot-box; and requiring accessible and publicly-advertised polling places and the allocation of polling-places and equipment and personnel on the basis of population. But probably there would have to be a Constitutional Amendment for any of that to happen.)

      • kimyo

what is your job, if not to demand fair and accurate elections? is that not the ‘civic duty’ of every single american?

where were you a week before clinton stole california? others here were raising the alarm about placebo ballots. you gave us hundreds of paragraphs on WHY we should vote for sanders, but ZERO words on HOW to make sure our vote would be counted.

where were you 2 months after california, when it became clear that, were the provisional ballots counted, he would have been the winner? some sanders supporter you are.

today, clinton is again ~ a week away from stealing the 2016 election.

what will be your response to those who follow your advice and vote for trump? better luck next time? well, at least you did your civic duty? trump2020?

what is your job? i believe you call it a day the moment a voter enters the booth. accurate tallies? not your concern. diebold can handle that.

ps: your reliance on msm poll data is whimsical if not outright delusional. what i see is 60% trump, 30% clinton, remainder to stein/johnson. what do you think the real numbers are?

        • Eric Zuesse

“kimyo,” I have no power, unless it be over myself. I cannot ‘demand’ that my nation become a democracy. I am not Don Quixote.

          • kimyo

do you think sanders won california? brooklyn? if so, why have you failed to pen even one paragraph on the subject?

  • Excellent point! Trump’s empty promises sound like populism but, as we know, Trump is as owned as Clinton. He will do nothing for peace with Russia, which is the only reason he should even be considered. His foreign policy lineup is a who’s who of the worst of the neocons. May we be contacted by a benevolent, superior life form soon and rescued from the fools that lead us.

    • Eric Zuesse

Michael, isn’t it possible that he has no intention of heeding any of the advice of his mostly horrible ‘advisors’ and no intention of including many of them in his administration, but has named them merely in order to make the Establishment feel less afraid of him than they already do?

      • I certainly hope you’re right if he wins next week.

        And, how about that FBI?

  • Kansas_Voter

I still haven’t decided who I’m voting for. I’d like to vote for Jill Stein but Crooked Hillary and the democratic party can just ignore Stein supporters as voters that they’d never get, so I’m thinking about voting for Trump so that Crooked Hillary and the DNC can hear loud and clear when I say “F#*% you.”
