“Crimes against humanity” include any of the following acts committed as part of a widespread or systematic attack directed against any civilian population, with knowledge of the attack:
- the crime of apartheid;
- other inhumane acts of a similar character intentionally causing great suffering or serious bodily or mental injury.
– International Criminal Court (ICC)
Let’s consider a Christian religious perspective on Republican and Democratic leaderships’ policies as the American public face the 2016 election for president. Down from 78% in 2007, 70% of Americans say they are Christian; the largest number within a nation on our planet.
Because we can clearly demonstrate that “leadership” of both political parties reject Jesus’ only commandment to love one another as He loved us (also the greatest commandment of the Old Testament) by reneging on all promises since 1969 to end poverty, with intentional outcome of slow, gruesome deaths of ~1,000,000 children every month, this is game-changing criminal hypocrisy. The “former” colonial nations renege on ending poverty despite the 10-year investment is just 0.7% of gross national income (GNI); an insignificant fraction of the trillions looted from colonies over hundreds of years.
In fact, because these intentional policies of poverty-murder are Crimes Against Humanity even without the lie-started and illegal Wars of Aggression, true Americans and Christians can and should reject further presidents to demand arrests of both parties’ “leaders” rather than pretend they are qualified for president.
The cost of Americans’ lack of spiritual and citizen power has poverty and war-murdered ~500 million human beings since Hillary Clinton was in the White House as First Lady. The physical volume of dead bodies is about equal to NYC’s “Freedom Tower” standing over the craters of the World Trade Center buildings every year. If you’ve visited this site, please take a moment to visualize what 23 such “Freedom Towers” would be.
Importantly, we can document (and here) and analyze that the 2016 US presidential “election” is not an accountable election, but the Left and Right arms of American .01% power competing for relatively greater parasitic positioning among controlled corporate media and themselves. If you are unfamiliar with these facts of Emperor’s New Clothes election fraud, please read the links. Party-endorsed election fraud is another reason to demand arrests of party “leaders” rather than be forced to choose either the Left or Right arm of an American rogue state.
Jesus’ one and only commandment: to love one another
The opposite of love would impose colonialism and war upon weaker nations to extract resources and wealth while imposing sadistic control upon those populations to force “human resources” to choose between death by poverty or near-slave wages to serve the colonialists. Those of us who are aware easily document this theme of American history. That said, because the six corporations that dominate corporate media also print public school history texts, the facts of American empire require a little reading to correct key lies of omission and commission that confuse many Americans.
This is similar to the ongoing key lies of omission and commission Americans hear from presidential candidates.
This said, almost all Americans are absolutely confident about Jesus’ one and only commandment that we human beings love each other to the level that Jesus expressed love for human beings.
For Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton to claim they are Christians while lying in omission of the ease to end poverty with intentional silence to never remind Americans of ongoing reneged promises to end poverty with less than 1% of our income, this demonstrates a hypocrisy of values where a million children’s deaths every month is more important to maintain than the love of humanity to end American empire.
Again, the slaughter of human beings through intentional colonial policy of poverty-murder is 500 million human beings since the Clinton presidency of reneged promises to end poverty. This total is more deaths from all wars in all recorded human history.
This slaughter is the opposite of love; the opposite of Jesus’ one commandment.
To emphasize, it’s not as if Jesus gave 10 new commandments that would be difficult to keep in mind. He gave just one, with the word “commandment” communicating the requirement rather than option of love to be Christian.
Trump claims the Bible is his favorite book. In 40 seconds, with opportunity to judge his sincerity:
4-minute video of Trump’s choice of hobby time for staged violence and ego-service in the “Battle of the Billionaires” that provides further opportunity to consider how highly he values the Bible and love when this is how he spends his free time:
“I am a person of faith. I am a Christian. …any of us who are Christian have a constantly, constant, conversation in our own heads about what we are called to do and how we are asked to do it, and I think it is absolutely appropriate for people to have very strong convictions and also, though, to discuss those with other people of faith. …My study of the Bible, my many conversations with people of faith, has led me to believe the most important commandment is to love the Lord with all your might and to love your neighbor as yourself, and that is what I think we are commanded by Christ to do…”
To be clear on Clinton’s psychopathy (apparently normal social veneer covering viciously destructive actions), in this sharp 5-minute video from Tomato Bubble and Realist Report from 2014, Presidents Bush and Obama, Secretary of State and presidential-hopeful Ms. Clinton, presidential-hopeful has-been John McCain, and former Secretary of State and Bush family friend James Baker all psychopathically joke about these unlawful and lie-started wars:
In just 90 seconds, former US Marine Ken O’Keefe powerfully states how you may choose to voice “very obvious solutions”: arrest the criminal leaders rather than choose another of their party for president (video starts at 20:51, then finishes this episode of Cross Talk):
And a 3-minute video: Police, Military – Was your Oath sincere? This is far more in the spirit of Jesus to confront injustice directly:
Americans have voice and opportunity to reject the loveless “leadership” offered to us. An alternative is demand for arrests for obvious War Crimes, and just as obvious solutions to genuinely build a brighter future based on love.
