Ukraine- Nazi’s Target American Journalist in Donbass

Preface from Washington’s Blog:  We are not pro-Russian.  We think Putin can be an asshole, and we are appalled by Russia’s crackdown on human rights. We are Americans who are pro-truth. And we follow the truth wherever it leads.

Journalists are seldom the story and they shouldn’t be. The Ukrainian war is unfortunately changing that. Starting last year in Donbass, the world got a taste of what it’s like when Ukraine’s army actively hunts journalists down. This is what happened to Andrei Stenin among many other Russian journalists.

If American journalists are publishing in America or worldwide markets are they legitimate targets in a war? Can Ukraine arrest American journalists writing in publications outside of Ukraine in the English language?

Can a private US citizen use another country’s military or “spy agency” to target anyone including other Americans?

It’s not hypothetical. It’s happening to me right now.

I have received a lot of communications about what I write concerning the war here. When you consider this one, think about what it means if you live in any country that prides itself on human rights, dignity, and freedoms.

“Hello George Eliason,

Joel Harding ( has sent you a message via your contact form ( at Russia Insider News.

If you don’t want to receive such e-mails, you can change your settings at
It’s been fun following you!  I hope you’re having fun in Donbas. So sorry NovoRossiya is being dissolved.
I’ve been looking forward to you publishing some more articles. But I’m curious, two months and nothing?  Did you change names?
I know your bandwidth there is limited, this is probably costing you many Russian rubles.  Oh yeah, I hear they don’t take Ukrainian Hryvnia.  The good news is that Luhansk and Donetsk will both remain with Ukraine, Russia can’t afford it.
By the time you return to the West, I should be in Kyiv, waiting for you.  You have a date with the SBU.”

Who is Joel Harding?

To start to get an idea of who this man is, Before becoming Ukraine’s King Troll, Harding was one of the war planners for the Iraq war, the Afghanistan war, and the invasion of Haiti. He was the Joint Staff J2 in support of Special Operations. He became the Joint Staff J2 liaison for IO (Information Operations) for the CIA, DIA, NSA, DISA and assorted agencies in Washington. He helped develop the methodologies and technologies used by the NSA, CIA, and US Military that Edward Snowden speaks about.

Harding is the man that developed and implemented Ukraine’s info war and propaganda effort as well as the Odessa Massacre and the MH17 cover ups. He is behind every Russian invasion of Ukraine that never happened.

Looking at the message above, there is no mistaking Harding’s writing style. When I say I’ve read Harding I mean it started with “Hello world” and ended with every public piece listed on the search engines. That was before I wrote one sentence about what he does. His smarmy understanding of even my connectivity says he’s been looking at a little more than the articles I publish. Files missing off my computer and a few other interesting annoyances attest to that.

Why is Joel Harding Interested in me?

Since the beginning of the “putsch” in Kiev, I have been the only western or American journalist in Donbass the entire time. I’ve provided proof destroying the incredible propaganda pieces Hardings minions tried to foist on the world. In the western press, I wrote many of the first stories on events as they happened in Donbass. There are many great journalists writing on the Ukrainian war and its info war, but to date I am the only one addressing the InfoWar by taking it directly back to Harding. Since June of 2014 I have been addressing the people and methodologies involved.

I’m taking it on by challenging it’s thesis and cutting the ground out from under it. I am replacing its lies with facts. That’s why Harding takes me personally. His story is a clear cut and direct outcome of the pervasive structures that Snowden revealed . He designed the culture, tools, and doctrine that Snowden’s world was built on.

Peacekeeper Hit Lists

I broke the story about Harding as the force behind Ukraine’s info war against Russia in a two part series in mid- March. The first article in the series detailed Harding’s decision to destroy American News websites, journalists, and activists that he labeled Russian active measures agents (Russian info warriors that ARE targetable.) It also detailed the methodologies for doing it.

Right on cue within one day of the first article, Harding’s trolls came off the page like I predicted they would, but not in Ukraine.

In Washington DC, posing as a Russian official, a troll asked anti-war activist David Swanson to publish “Russian propaganda. He gave a gmail address on a Russian Embassy business card. The Russians don’t use gmail, especially not for government business. Swanson published an article about the incident and became an example in the info war.

Over the course of the last year Harding, set up and ran the information war for Ukraine and was behind the repression of free speech and journalism in Kiev. Harding set up what became Yuri Stets “Ministry of Truth” which censored the news and set up the true purpose of the Peacekeeper site which was to target individuals and journalists the Ukrainian nationalists wanted to “neutralize” or simply eliminate.

Within less than a month site became famous for it’s kill lists as journalists were hunted down.

How Far Will Ukraine’s King Troll go to destroy You or me?

Photographs can be photo-shopped, so can videos.  Eyewitness accounts are suspect.  Reporters stories are only as reliable as the news sources and that means they are not reliable. Even if the most reliable person in the world says something, their word can always be branded speculation, biased or that they are a paid troll, be it Russian or otherwise (although I really don’t know of any others). Harding Aug 31

They probably have been really frightened by the idea of bearing criminal responsibility sooner of later for their actions or for becoming persona non grata in the civilized world,” Herashchenko wrote.

It is also noteworthy that foreign intelligence services have become interested in the Peacemaker site — the CIA, FBI, European intelligence and counterintelligence. The reason in simple. The civilized countries, drawing on information on the pro-Russian militants-terrorists, will be able to create their own databases of suspicious persons and individuals that must be neutralized and isolated from society, he said.”

NATO Involvement

I’ve shown that Harding designed and unified Ukraine’s information war and propaganda effort internally and the international media and press efforts thematically outside Ukraine.

When the news of the Peacekeeper site killings broke, I thought the story would focus and I could move on to other things. It didn’t. After the “Red Herring” Ophelia was found the story died down when it should have been investigated further.

The Peacekeeper website was launched on NATO servers in Latvia. This put it squarely inside the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence, Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence, Riga, Latvia. This COE opened doors in the spring of 2014 for the Ukrainian conflict.

According to Harding StratComCOE, Latvia’s sole purpose is NATO’s attempt to combat Russian Information Warfare which unified the effort with the Ukrainians. “Peacekeeper” was part of that project designed by Harding and the intent has always been to take the info war off the page and bring measurable results.

This one act by itself made both Harding and StratComCOE accessories to the murder of Ukrainian journalists and politicians in and around Kiev. By pushing the provocative lies and then listing all the contact information on the “kill lists” it was inevitable that this was the fruit Harding’s efforts would bear.

This is Why Major Publications are Endorsing My Work

Over the past year I’ve dug in deep when investigative or historical background work was needed and tried to provide valuable resources to both writers and readers to understand the conflict. Because of this I have been rewarded by being able to rub shoulders with great journalists, publishers, editors, and of course the people most affected here in Donbass.

As level of #HardingsSuperTrolls work have increased exponentially over the past 10 months the need to provide real video directly to the west is real. I never asked to stand toe to toe with Harding, STRATCOM/COE, NATO Countries (involved), 40,000 + #HardingSuperTrolls (Ukraine cyber army, Peacekeeper), and the UCCA +UWC at the same time.

Robert Kall This is essential work, casting clear light of truth on a story primarily being narrated by neoliberal warhawks who wouldn’t know the truth if they accidentally stumbled into it. It takes great courage to report from a war zone. That’s why I’ve made a donation to support this valuable work. Please join me in helping reach the goal of this funding project.

Washingtonsblog- Crowdfund a Videocam So We Can See What’s REALLY Going On- Intrepid American reporter George Eliason is living in – and reporting from – Ukraine. He’s risking his life to bring us unbiased, on-the-ground reporting in English … which we can’t get anywhere else.

Mick Meaney(RINF) – George Eliason was the first western journalist to write unbiased reports about the ongoing events in Ukraine, and now he needs our help. George is in desperate need of a camera to help him document the facts that counter the onslaught of propaganda from governments and the corporate media.

This is the exact reason RINF exists – to support independent journalism, and the reason that you continue to visit the site. Please take a look at his indiegogo appeal and contribute whatever you can – it is only with your help can independent journalists continue to report the truth

Russia-Insider-We’ve worked a lot with George over the past year, and can recommend him wholeheartedly. He’s risking his life to get the truth out.  It doesn’t get much more real, or more admirable, than that. We were never able to pay him, and he never asked, just did what he thought was right.  Now we have a chance to help him. If you can, please share on social media – it really helps…This is how alternative media happens – regular folks, giving a few bucks at a time, or volunteering a few hours.

What Harding’s promise to me means to you

The new profile of a terrorist-

  • middle-aged white guy
  • journalist
  • Christian, determined to do good in the world and stand up for what is right
  • unarmed and attacking no one

Should Harding and the Ukrainians succeed and get away with it-any private citizen with connections can not only put you on a list, they can now have you imprisoned or tortured and killed.

Should I Be Caught

Across the front line, on the Ukrainian side torture has been common place. Since the American trainers arrived the Ukrainian punishers started to practice “waterboarding.” This is a new trick in the repertoire. In Donbass everywhere I go I introduce myself as a journalist. I developed a strong rapport and close friendships based on my admission of what I am doing. I go places and talk to people that otherwise would be inaccessible.

That said, no one interferes with what I investigate, no one volunteers “ secrets of state,” and I let people know if you lie to me once I’ll scorch your reputation, end of story.

The reason I am doing this is simple and apolitical. People are getting hurt. This ideology behind the systematic destruction of people and property is still the plague it was determined to be 70+ years ago by our grandparents.

What would Harding ask me with the SBU?

Harding would probably ask me baseball box scores as I am tortured. I don’t think even he could keep a straight face asking if I was FSB, a Russian Spetznatz, or a Chechen. Will they waterboard or flail the skin off my arms? Will they cut my fingers off like they do to Donbass people?

The question you need to come to grips with is even more disturbing.

If private US citizen Joel Harding can use NATO resources to locate me (Ukraine’s cyber war is out of Riga, Latvia), and a foreign country (Ukraine) to abduct me for writing articles in American based publications for American readers- Where does that leave you? They already tried to discredit David Swanson inside Washington DC, remember?

Ukraine is only one of the efforts Harding is leading right now.

Joel Harding is the top of the charts guy in a field where there are hundreds of other leaders over thousands of technicians.

Nonsense, I say, Brigitte Gabriel was spot on.  As she said, and I am paraphrasing for my purposes, the vast majority of peaceful people are irrelevant because they did not influence or stop those who committed those acts of atrocity. -Harding

He is referring to you. He expects you won’t say or do anything. Ukraine is not the first time the infowar has been fought hard. It is the first time it has been so effective across the board, enough to make people disbelieve what has been clear through documentation so far.

We can change that by providing video evidence to alternative sites free of charge. Doing this will put them at the playing level of Fox news or CNN where the Ukraine war is concerned.

If they catch me you don’t need to worry about being caught next. You are already caught. We just need to extricate ourselves together.

Support my efforts and together we’ll all put an end to this.

Thanks GE for providing us in lame stream media world with the truth. Thanks GW for putting this up and I do have one question were you able to buy the camera? Stay Safe.

    • George Eliiason

Thanks. I’m still crowdfunding. Harding and his profession present a threat to everybody.

Way to go, man! You, sir, have both ballls and integrity and a willingness to risk life and limb for what many see as a moral imperative. I have been tardy in raiding my tiny piggy bank for you, and I apologize, but will help in the next 48 hours. im also going to contact Rudowski at wearechange to see if maybe he can get you more coverage, as well as possible media outlets here in Seattle. Do you have a public email, or voicemail box that I can forward to anybody interested that won’t endanger you? I’m sorry that this job is all on your shoulders, but clearly you are cut from cloth that doesn’t easily fray. You have my utmost respect and appreciation. I wish I was wealthy, but I will get you what I can.

Many thanks and I just want to say I’m in awe of your courage, your work is outstanding, and you’re a heck of a writer. I’ll be sure to help out soon. Keep up the good fight, stay safe.

        • George Eliason

          thank you

Seriously wtf up with this Harding guy. What I want to know is if my tax dollars go towards this 100% fascist asshole Harding’s paychecks.

  • The Kulak

We suspect this piece and the previous one give the thuggish Harding too much credit, he seems to be more likely an ‘ex’ spook/psyops front man for the real ongoing U.S. psychological operations, with which most Western media are in full cahoots at the top. As an example of such cahoots, witness the total failure to report the real casualties of the Ukraine regime above and beyond the 2,250 KIA admitted in the Kyiv Post. The junta needs to play up and wildly exagerrate active duty Russian or volunteer combatant casualties in the Donbass while massively hiding the 14,000+ Ukrainian KIA lest the relatives riot together with all the Ukrainians pissed about Kiev’s economic collapse and selling off the country to Wester bankster creditors. The US/NATO psyops warriors need to play up absolutely everything that is going wrong or every single shred of dissent in Russia while savagely attacking as KGB/SVR or Kremlin useful idiots anyone pointing to the collapse of the Ukrainian economy or Kiev atrocities.

It wouldn’t surprise me if this thug Harding tries to hack into the Sen. Rand Paul campaign or create another non-existent Russian Embassy identity in D.C. to create a ‘connection’ where none exists to the alternative media or all movements in the U.S. opposed to the Ukraine war.

Threatening a fellow American citizen with torture by the SBU — wow. That’s unprecedented, as far as I know. Did any of Hoover’s thugs suggest that members of the anti-war movement in the 60s would be handed over to the ARVN or CIA Phoenix project South Vietnamese intel torturers? I don’t think so!

“We think Putin can be an asshole, and we are appalled by Russia’s crackdown on
    human rights”.

I am really, really tired of reading statements like that. In the past few years, I must have seen such “disclaimers” a thousand times. Do you know what I have NEVER seen, not even once? A reliable, cogent, factual, convincing account of exactly what Putin’s presumed crimes are. (Apart from not falling down on his face when Americans tell him to).

    • Tom Welsh

And what is about “Russia’s attack on human rights”? First of all, Russia is a radically different kind of society from those of the USA or Western Europe. In its more than 1,000 years of history (beginning, ironically, in Kiev) it has been formally “democratic” for about 25 years. It belongs to a far older tradition, in which the privileged help the poor out of decency and a sense of religious obligation. Please note, by the way, that the freshly-elected government of the UK also proposes to repeal its Human Rights Act and return to the traditional British approach of common law rights.

The whole idea of human rights is extremely far-fetched, and indeed cannot be implemented without absurd contradictions. If there is a drought or a famine, what happens to the dying people’s “rights” to stay alive? Even Jeremy Bentham, the great exponent of utilitarianism, had this to say about human rights:

“That which has no existence cannot be destroyed — that which cannot be destroyed cannot require anything to preserve it from destruction. Natural rights is simple nonsense: natural and imprescriptible rights, rhetorical nonsense — nonsense upon stilts. But this rhetorical nonsense ends in the old strain of mischievous nonsense for immediately a list of these pretended natural rights is given, and those are so expressed as to present to view legal rights. And of these rights, whatever they are, there is not, it seems, any one of which any government can, upon any occasion whatever, abrogate the smallest

If, as I suspect, you mean Russia’s laws to prevent homosexuals recruiting under-age children to their sexual practices, do you really believe that the Russian government is wrong? Remember, too, that until about 30 years ago homosexuality was considered sinful and immoral in most Western nations, and as little as 50 years ago it was still a criminal offence – consider the fate of Alan Turing.

“He that is without sin, let him cast the first stone”.

    • George Eliason

Washingtonsblog has been outrageously supportive this entire time. You would be impressed with the fact that many other supportive websites would not print this or tried to keep it out of visibility. The material is that explosive.

  • Caeli Francisco

We are all supporting you, doing what you do – albeit not all of us is on “site” like you and other journalists – and we do what we are doing free of charge and are not getting paid for our work by no one. We do it, because we want peace in this world; because we want the evil workers of darkness and death exposed; and we want victory for those who stand for light and life for all.
