Obama Fights to Spread GMO Foods Throughout Europe

Eric Zuesse

One of the major barriers blocking U.S. President Barack Obama’s campaign for his mammoth international trade deals — the TTIP with Europe, and the TPP with Asia — is: other countries want the freedom to make up their own minds about the safety or dangerousness of the foods they allow to be sold within their borders.

The Obama Administration is insisting that no nation have that freedom. In fact, all participating nations would be removed from that responsibility and authority. The Obama trade deals propose to replace that national authority, and basic national sovereignty on these important matters, by decisions that would instead be made by international panels, whose members will be appointed by international corporations, which have their own profits at stake in these matters. Consumers and others will be ignored: they will not be represented in the proposed panels. Nor will any government be represented there. That soverignty will instead be transferred to the billionaire families who control and derive their income from these corporations.

On Friday, April 24th, Agence France Presse headlined “US Stresses Opposition to EU Opt-Out for GMO Imports,” and reported that, “The United States underscored Friday its opposition to a new European Union plan to allow member states to block genetically engineered imports after bilateral talks on a transatlantic free-trade pact.”

President Obama’s Trade Representative, Michael Froman, who is a Wall Street banker and a longtime close personal friend of the President, said on April 22nd that he was “very disappointed” that the EU wants to allow individual EU nations to “opt out” of automatic approval of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) that the international panels will approve to be marketed everywhere. Furthermore, Froman’s assistant said that the U.S. rejects “a proposal to allow EU member states to ban products deemed safe by Europe’s own scientists.” He was referring there to the half of scientific papers that find GMO foods to be safe. However, those papers were produced by companies that manufacture and market GMOs. The other half of the scientific papers on GMOs, the half that were produced independently of the GMO industry, have not found GMO foods to be safe — to the exact contrary. The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative ignores those papers.

On 8 July 2009, Agence France Presse headlined “Scientists Warn of Hazards of GMOs,” and reported that an article in the International Journal of Biological Science co-authored by world-leading scientists, reported that, “Agricultural GM companies and evaluation committees systematically overlook the side effects of GMOs and pesticides.” An accompanying study, “How Subchronic and Chronic Health Effects Can Be Neglected for GMOs, Pesticides or Chemicals,” found “a significant underestimation of the initial signs of diseases like cancer and diseases of the hormonal, immune, nervous and reproductive systems.”

The United States does not regulate GMO foods, because the patents are owned mostly by U.S. companies, and the U.S. Government doesn’t want to get in the way of their selling their patented products. Consequently, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration takes any given GMO manufacturer’s word for the safety of its GMO products. U.S. President Obama wants to promote U.S. trade by convincing all other countries to sell GMO foods. His TTIP and TPP are supported by the GMO industry, which has approved their GMO foods and allowed their product-labels to not mention that some or all of the ingredients are genetically modified crops.

One of the major advantages of GMO crops is that they can survive the use of herbicides — weed-killers — that kill natural crops. (The GMO-seed manufacturer also markets the pesticide or herbicide; these are chemical companies, and GMOs are a complementary or synergistic product-line for them. For example, the leading herbicide “Roundup” is from Monsanto which produces the GMO seeds that tolerate it.) Another advantage is that the foods can stay longer as looking and smelling fresh, which also lowers the cost of production, and yet the consumer doesn’t even know that the food is actually stale — the food is competing against costlier-to-produce non-GMO foods and so driving them off the market by the lower price, which leaves more and more food-production dependent upon GMO makers such as Monsanto, DuPont, and Dow Chemical. The lower price is obvious; the lower quality is hidden. It’s race-to-the-bottom international ‘competition,’ in which the aristocracy reap all the winnings; the public get the losses.

A recent news report from independent food scientists was bannered “FDA Product Safety Declaration Misleads Nation—Again” and it contains references to many recent scientific papers that find GMO foods to be dangerous, and harmful to human health.

An international analysis, “A Comparative Evaluation of the Regulation of GM Crops” was published in 2013 in the scientific journal Environment International, and it concluded by saying that, “Regulatory bodies are not adequately assessing the risks of dsRNA-producing GM products. As a result, we recommend a process to properly assess the safety of dsRNA-producing GM organisms before they are released or commercialized.” The Obama Administration is trying to prevent that from happening; and their proposed TTIP and TPP international-trade treaties are crucial components of achieving this objective. In the United States, GMO-producers are granted the right to self-regulate, and this practice will become the standard worldwide practice if the TPP and TTIP become passed into law.

The U.S. Government is doing everything it can to spread to other nations the same deregulatory policies that American companies rely upon to market their products inside the United States. On Friday, April 25th, a key U.S. Senate Committee approved a “Trade Promotion Authority” bill to help rush through the U.S. Senate the approval of Mr. Froman’s TPP trade deal with Asian countries. For a summary of the regulatory practices around the world regarding GMO crops, see here. A discussion of the votes in the U.S. Senate on the measure that was proposed by Senator Bernie Sanders to allow individual states to establish their own regulations requiring the labeling or indication of whether or not particular food ingredients are GMOs (since the federal Government refuses to consider such a proposal), is here, and it shows that even some allegedly progressive U.S. Senators voted the GMO industry’s way on that bill to regulate it, which failed, on a vote of 71 to 27. One might call this the Monsanto Congress, because the U.S. House is even more conservative than the Senate. Of the 27 U.S. Senators who voted for the Sanders bill, 24 were Democrats, 2 were Independents, and 1 was Republican. 43 Republicans, and 28 Democrats voted against it. The Obama Administration had lobbied against the bill, in order to continue the GMO industry’s free reign over America’s food-supply.

When Barack Obama campaigned for the Presidency in 2008, he said, “Let folks know when their food is genetically modified, because Americans have a right to know what they’re buying.” But as soon as he won the Presidency “The new president filled key posts with Monsanto people, in federal agencies that wield tremendous force in food issues, the USDA and the FDA.” And whereas Republican news-organizations such as Fox ‘News’ criticized him as being a Muslim Marxist, he was actually implementing policies that continued those of the Republican George W. Bush Administration on this and on many other issues. Yet, no matter how far to the right Mr. Obama actually was, he was portrayed as a ‘leftist’ in Republican ’news’ media. And yet, still, even today, the vast majority of Democratic voters approve of his actions as President. They still believe his rhetoric, even though he has lied to them constantly and even filed a friend-of-the-court brief in the U.S. Supreme Court arguing that lying in politics must continue to remain unrestricted not only at the national level but also in each and every one of the states. Consequently, in the United States, there is no effective political opposition to the large international U.S. corporations. (And, under the Republican Supreme Court’s 2010 Citizens United decision, corporations now have virtually unlimited freedom to use stockholders’ money to purchase politicians.)

Hillary Clinton is a big supporter of the GMO industry, and the response of liberals to that is to ask her to give them rhetoric they like on the matter, just as Obama had done when he was running for President in 2008. In other words: they will campaign for her to become President if she will only lie to them as Obama did to them. What liberals are demanding is rhetoric; but if they get it from her, then the industries that are funding her Presidential campaign won’t be worried, because she has a solid record of doing what her financial backers want her to do. As long as Americans don’t care when a politician has lied to them, lying to them will continue to be the way to win public office — especially considering that America’s international corporations now have been granted by the Republican U.S. Supreme Court a ‘free speech’ right to purchase the U.S. Government. And now that the Supreme Court has also ruled that political lies are a Constitutionally proected form of speech, those ads don’t even need to be true. If the American people don’t care about honesty, then they won’t have an honest government, because America’s corporations can then buy any U.S. Government they want — they’ll have total impunity if the U.S. public don’t even care about honesty in their government. There are no legal penalties for political lying; so, if there are also no political penalties for it, then the U.S. can only be ruled by lies and their liars. Should that be called “fascism”?

According to the generally progressive Democratic U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio (who, along with Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders is one of the Senate’s three leading opponents of Mr. Obama’s proposed international-trade treaties), President Obama has been lobbying Senators more insistently and more intensely on getting them to grant him “Fast Track Trade Promotion Authority” to ram these treaties through, than on any other single issue since Obama first became President in 2009. No issue, not even Obamacare nor any other, has been as important to Obama as is his getting signed into law the TPP and TTIP. It would certainly be the culmination of his Presidency if he succeeds. It would be his crowning achievement. He and his heirs will be amply rewarded if he succeeds; and that’s apparently what he really cares about. He has shown it by his actions as the President, not by his rhetoric to voters. After all: Americans, it seems, don’t really care about honesty. All they really care about is rhetoric that pleases them. They merely want to be told what they want to hear.

Perhaps this is the reason why no progressive has entered the Democratic Presidential contest against Hillary Clinton. If the only realistic possibilities to become the next President are her and her Republican opponent (whomever he will turn out to be), then America will continue to be a de facto one-party State, and this will be the U.S. international-corporate party, in both of its factions or nominal varieties, controlling the U.S. Government. The only comprehensive scientific study that has yet been done finds that the U.S. has, in fact, already been ruled in this way for some time. (The history of how it came to be this way, starting gradually after the end of World War II, is the subject of my latest book.) Obama is merely implementing it more; he didn’t start it. He is implementing it more than even Republicans were able to do.

Obama wouldn’t have been able to do this if he didn’t come bearing the label ‘Democrat.’ And Hillary Clinton’s husband Bill was the key person to subordinate that Party to Wall Street. Hillary and Obama are following in his footsteps. Obama’s “Change” occured actually when Bill Clinton became President in 1993. It simply hasn’t been much recognized until now. Today’s Democratic Party started when Bill became President. That’s when the one-party State, with the national Democrats playing the role of the ‘Good Cop’ to the national and local Republicans’ role of the ‘Bad Cop,’ in the eyes of the Democratic Party’s electoral base of deceived liberals, actually began to take over the U.S. Government, for the benefit of, and service to, America’s aristocracy.

This is why both Obama and Clinton are big supporters of essentially unregulated GMOs. It’s sort of like unregulated Wall Street: the profits get privatized, while the losses (poor health etc.) get socialized.

Andy Ramirez reports on Trade Promotion Authority, an executive power that Congress can grant President Obama in regard to negotiating trade agreements with other nations. He also talks about the Trans-Pacific Partnership, which President Obama would use his executive authority, if granted, to negotiate with currently 11 other nations in the Pacific Rim.

“GOOD AS EVER” ! Thanks for this stringent “Contribution” , explaining & reasoning “OUR CON – POSITION” !!!

Let’s stop referring to our brutish material masters with the phrase “corporation”, as the corporate entity serves as a deliberate legal attempt to hide their true identity from us. Let us, who seek to expose fraud and other forms of deliberate wrongdoing, agree to refer to these people by their real names.

Towards that purpose, I refer to the study release a few years back, http://arxiv.org/PS_cache/arxiv/pdf/1107/1107.5728v2.pdf, which identifies 147 global corporations as the core group that owns virtually every other significant corporation (and government, NGO, World Government Organization, not to mention media, educational institution, scientific discourse, most religious groups and more – all through manifest corruption). Reviewing the list reveals that the top 50 of these are virtually all financial organizations, with a few energy companies for variety.

Before going further, let’s be clear about one thing: financial institutions are parasitic, they produce nothing in the marketplace, they add nothing to the quality or value of life. They extract their profits from the productive class, primarily through fraud and deception, and by controlling the levers of finance and commerce (and law/government).

Still, these 147 corporations still represent a hiding place for the actual people involved, the identities of which are hidden from public knowledge. Hide they must, because a few hundred people can not rule ruthlessly over a planet of 7 billion without keeping knowledge of the truth hidden.

We can understand from the top 50 corporations that these people are bankers. Here is a list provided by Wikipedia of the top banking families in the world: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_banking_families

Note: they are predominantly European in descent, even though they are now using the government of the United States of America, and it’s citizens as their proxy to enforce their will upon the rest of the planet. Nor are Americans immune from the enforcement of their will, unless you serve as one of their enablers in government, business, media, et al.

Let us all agree to refer to these people by name. They want to hide, and they work hard to maintain their secrecy. What better way to combat them than to expose their true identity?

I would like very much for us to return to the traditional arrangement whereby we are governed by our elected governments, and not by the USA or its immensely rich, utterly amoral corporations.

The difficulty is that money is a universal solvent. There are very few people indeed, unfortunately, who can resist the appeal of large sums of money. That means that anyone whom we elect to pursue our interests is immediately exposed to a massive barrage of financial offers.

‘My Ph.D. dissertation chairman, who became a high Pentagon official assigned to wind down the Vietnam war, in answer to my question about how Washington gets Europeans to always do what Washington wants replied: “Money, we give them money.” “Foreign aid?” I asked. “No, we give the European political leaders bagfuls of money. They are for sale. We bought them. They report to us.” Perhaps this explains Tony Blair’s $50 million fortune one year out of office’.

This well written, well researched article from 2014 names the names.

Very informative. It does not list the Rothschild family though, which owns, or has ownership in, major banks around the world, in every major country, including the Federal Reserve in the USA.

      • Lynn Walker

Thank you, that is a very useful article. My one point of contention: the authors decline to suggest that any of the individuals involved are guilty of criminal activity, suggesting that “crimes” occur due to a systemic greed and the resulting actions. I assert that financial gain is derived through corruption and fraud, with the most significant being the legal right these select individuals have gained (through bribery, a crime) to counterfeit money. With that privilege they are able to corrupt virtually anything that matters. Creating war for personal profit is considered treason in America and most other countries. Causing untold suffering is an international crime against humanity. There is no sparing these “demonic” entities with a polite refusal to indict them for their deliberate acts.

The article also fails to touch on why these people engage in their greed-driven acts, and how they see themselves. Yes, though they know quite well they diminish and even destroy the lives of billions of people, they see themselves as the progenitors of a future race of humans, which will be descended from them, and not us. We are the lowly workers laboring to build colossal structures for them, like the thousands of slaves who built pyramids to give one king a chance at immortality. They see that their success, at our expense, will evolve mankind faster and better than nature’s own course.

Unfortunately, for both us and them, they are deluded and utterly wrong. Men of such extreme materialism are always envious of God, and generally at war with Him, because despite their amazing successes, there is always the frustrating failure to fulfill their every whim, and with great power and great frustration comes great wrath. They are actually on a course for destruction, for that is the end game in their endless drive to possess and control.

It is better for us not to emulate them, or be envious of their situation. Greed is a poison that destroys all chance of happiness, peacefulness, and promises a future of immeasurable suffering. Karma is a bitch and no materialist escapes its grip.

They won’t live forever. They will die and then the judgment. In the meantime, we should have nothing to do with them, or as little as possible. Food can be purchased through farmer’s markets. We can grow our own. We can avoid them. Until we can get rid of these corporations and banking families.

        • HanzP

Thank you, that is a very useful article………NO. God damnit do not be polite — because if’s deference to the deluded, and dangerous . Own your road, the higher road marked with moral purpose. Generally, scientist and techworkers are the lowest bar in society — because they task repetitive processes and are incubated like children. Fed watered, gym, beer fridays, finances , video games etc. Well let’s say silicone valley is low culture, Facebook is a perfection of the purely degenerate view of humanity. The first thing these companies do is commercialize, stigmatize and sexualize children — cognitive impairment before age five is permanent.

You are spot on with these kinds of very human factors, in fact they are the key components of applied science to solve human problems. Data driven projects like this are complete fraud — outcomes, data, evidence, solutions — all grants that actually take away funds from social workers who solve real problems. Scientist are part of the same military industrial complex destroying humanity. Evidence:

I was appreciating your comment until i read — This site almost certainly publishes articles and comments by persons acting as shills for the banking families. — Please provide some example’s.

      • Lynn Walker

I’m not going to point fingers, but am reminding everyone that this is what happens. Seriously, if I said so and so was, how do you know that I’m not actually one, steering you away from a legitimate voice. Be aware, challenge and don’t accept everything you read, even from a source you trust. People are bought off so easy these days.

        • Southernfink

You’ve already pointed your finger at Washingtonblog – without providing an ounce of verifiable evidence to back up that claim.

          • Lynn Walker

Don’t be thick-headed. The evidence is our world at large and if you don’t think that some of what you read here comes from government agents then you don’t understand what you read here. Ok, for starters, since you try to quash the idea, I’d have to say your likely one.

          • Southernfink

Circumstantial to the question asked – either you can back up your claim or you will prove unable to.

Government trolls and sock puppets are nothing new – what is new is your claim.

This site almost certainly publishes articles and comments by persons acting as shills for the banking families.

Never mind the shills, sure they exist — Please provide some verifiable evidence, a link to such an article perhaps.

Sure you haven’t got this site confused with the Washington Post ?

          • Lynn Walker

You entirely miss my point, which is that persons acting as agents of or apologists for our global elite are almost certainly (note: I did not state absolute certainty) engaged with this and virtually every other site on the internet. I don’t have to substantiate this statement with evidence, and risk calling out someone who is simply misinformed. Your insistence on blocking the intent of my statement, which is to remind everyone that there is no certainty anywhere on the internet with regard to “truth” or “information”, is becoming alarming, and suggests that you are indeed a person intent on creating confusion and divisiveness. Why do you protest so strongly something that is so common as to be obvious, but worth reminding each other about?

          • Bill Rood

There’s a difference between an article such as this one by Eric Zuesse, and comments. Of course there are trolls who contribute comments. But like SF, I’d like you to identify specific “persons acting as shills for the banking families” that you believe have contributed articles to washingtonsblog. Since your comment is a comment on Eric Zuesse’s article, do you believe Eric is a shill?

In your first post, you wrote, “Let us, who seek to expose fraud and other forms of deliberate wrongdoing, agree to refer to these people by their real names (my emphasis),” yet you refuse to name names yourself.

Personally, I think your focus on individuals is misguided. It’s the corporate system that enables the accumulation of great wealth. The Rothschilds, Morgans, Rockefellers and Mellons could not accumulate or fully utilize their great power without the protection afforded by limited liability.

          • Southernfink

On the contrary – No didn’t miss your point – I Challenge everything — Specially when someone is making claims about this site that they’ve proven unable to support with valid and verifiable evidence such as a link to such an article.

You’ve not paid much attention to this fine article by Mr Eric Zuesse — And I’m getting a little suspicious — DERAILING the comment board happens quite a bit whenever Monsanto and GMO’s are involved.

As for posting under real names or not, that’s circumstantial to the matter at hand however Its recommended as a matter of safety.

          • Lynn Walker

            To SF & BR,
I don’t personally believe Zuesse is a shill, but that shouldn’t be seen as an indication that he isn’t. My choice of this space to make my comments was not a statement on the author, except that by pointing his finger largely at Obama I felt that it was useful to remind everyone that Obama works for other people and that it is time for all of us to start referring to those other people directly instead of allowing them to hide behind the curtain.

So, if you want me to point to specific articles that represent misinformation, intentional or not, then anyone who continues to address the puppets as the cause of the world’s problems, including this author, misses their prime objective – unless their objective is to run cover for the global elite.

One who reads Zuesse’s articles could easily determine that the author does not like Obama, nor should he. But, if he is so aghast at Obama’s actions, then why not call attention to the persons for whom Obama performs them? Getting rid of Obama will only slightly change the flavor of abuse we all endure, and leading people to believe that by getting rid of Obama we will be rid of our miseries is as foolish as thinking that by getting rid of Bush we made things better again.

I’d like to see Obama arrested and tried for his crimes, but I have a much greater desire to see our global elite arrested, tried and then punished. Let’s all stay on the same page, against the same acknowledged enemy and finally get somewhere with our actions.

As for the shills, I would say that any person who encourages you to take political action is one. It is far past the time that political action can do anything but neutralize your efforts. Chomsky is a prime example. While appearing to be a critical, progressive voice against US foreign policy abuses, his suggestion is that you do exactly that which will make utterly no difference: engage in the political process. Shill is taken as a severely horrible characterization, but in truth, anyone who even unwittingly leads you down the same useless path is as good as a shill. David Swanson is a suitable example.

            Satisfied now?

they are predominantly European in descent, even though they are now using the government of the United States of America

Yup, they came over the pond to bring the white man’s burden.

I found these two articles by Simon Jones very insightful, but they are without names, & then one understands the mechanism very well, but the question remains how to get a grip on these nameless manipulators.

In 1823 US President James Monroe published the “Monroe Doctrine”. This declared that “further efforts by European nations to colonize land or interfere with states in North or South America would be viewed as acts of aggression, requiring U.S. intervention.
At the same time, the doctrine noted that the United States would
neither interfere with existing European colonies nor meddle in the
internal concerns of European countries”. (Wikipedia)

I leave it to others to decide how often, and how gravely, the USA has meddled in the internal concerns of European countries since 1823. However, by its own Doctrine, it is committed to not doing so. A fortiori, European nations should resist US meddling with every ounce of their strength; and, if it is good for anything at all, the EU should support them in this fight.

Get lost, Obama. And take your bleeding “trade agreement” (aka mass coup d’etat) with you.

another significant downside to monsanto’s approach is that reliance on monocultures is ill-advised, to say the least. Monoculture and the Irish Potato Famine: cases of missing genetic variation

Lack of genetic variation in Irish potatoes contributed to the severity of the Irish potato famine, which devastated Ireland’s population and economy. Today, evolutionary theory tells us that relying on crops with low genetic variation can lead to disaster. Heeding the warnings of scientists and history may help us prevent wide-scale crop devastation due to changing environmental conditions.

a likely result of the warm blob in the pacific and the increase in worldwide volcanic activity is a shortened north american growing season. monsanto has us running everything at full tilt, with a short window of days between a successful harvest and a total loss. (this is part of the reason for the use of roundup/glyphosphate to dessicate crops discussed here)

monsanto makes us less secure, aside of course from poisoning our food and soil. a diversity of crops, and a movement away from pesticides is the way forward.

Glyphosate Herbicide Causes Antibiotic Resistant Bacteria, Kidney Disease, and Infertility

There are two reasons that a farmer wants to [use glyphosate on non-GMO crops]. It is for late season weed control in situations where he has patches of green weeds in the field that came up late. [This is commonly done with wheat and barley.] It is a little slower to harvest when weeds are present. The other reason involves late season snow. In the northern region such as in the Dakotas, in certain parts of Montana, and in the Prairies of Canada, there is a very short growing season. If it snows on the crop at harvest then you may lose the crop, because you can’t get back into the field to do the harvest. In these regions, 70% of the wheat and barley are desiccated with glyphosate before harvest. [This kills the plant so that it will wilt and dry]. Farmers don’t want to take a risk in losing their entire wheat and barley crop, so they will take a cut in yield and quality by using glyphosate a few weeks before harvest, and then harvest the crop early.

Farmers don’t realize how much they are contaminating that food or feed product when they do this. They will accept the cut [in quality and quantity of the crop], because that can buy them a week advantage in harvest. It’s really more done for ease and planning. However, it is just the dumbest thing you could ever do from a health and safety standpoint.

In fact, beer brewers are having a problem with glyphosate. A few years ago, when one of my colleagues wanted to get more Abraxis test strips for testing materials for glyphosate residue, he was told that they had a 3 month backlog. He asked, what was causing this? He was told that every load of malt barley coming out of North Dakota has to be tested, because the glyphosate levels were so high that it kills the yeast in the brew mix.

The USSA has become the major source of global infection in every sense of the word. Whether it is in the spreading of terrorism and war through its Pentacon Kill Industries and Al CIAduh terror organizations, the proliferation of its toxic blood-spattered IOU petroscrip dollah in the sewer “economy” of Wall St and of course the biological war against man and nature through the propagation of poisoned GMO “frankenstein food”. It is time the USSA was put in quarantine and allowed to die or it is time that it was defanged and rehabilitated before it destroys the rest of the human family. The psychopathy of the “exceptional” zero 1% of the Anglozionazi Empire of Chaos is something that the rest of the planet can no longer afford to ignore.

Louis, Missouri by John Francis Queeny, a 30-year veteran of the
pharmaceutical industry. Queeny funded the start-up with capital from
Coca-Cola (saccharin). Founder John Francis Queeny named Monsanto
Chemical Works after his wife, Olga Mendez Monsanto. Queeny’s father in
law was Emmanuel Mendes de Monsanto, wealthy financier of a sugar
company active in Vieques, Puerto Rico and based in St. Thomas in the
    Danish West Indies.

    1902: Monsanto manufactures its
first product, the artificial sweetener Saccharin, which Monsanto sold
to the Coca-Cola Company. The U.S. government later files suit over the
safety of Saccharin – but loses.

    1904: Queeny
persuaded family and friends to invest $15000, Monsanto has strong ties
to The Walt Disney Company, it having financial backing from the Order’s
Bank of America founded in Jesuit-ruled San Francisco by
Italian-American Roman-Catholic Knight of Malta Amadeo Giannini.”

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration takes any given GMO manufacturer’s word for the safety of its GMO products. But exactly – The Obama administrations food czar is none other than former Monsanto executive Michael Taylor , see >> — You’re Appointing Who? Please Obama, Say It’s Not So! <<

The food is competing against costlier-to-produce non-GMO foods and so driving them off the market — This would not be the case for non GMO organic producers [NGOP] using traditional growing methods.

I grow heirloom vegetables — as an example — there are simply no associated costs for purchasing seeds – It’s when Free Trade Agreements are being used that manipulate governments into forcing farmers to grow GMO crops – A recent example of that was shown in the conditionalites of the EU, IMF – Ukraine bailout conditionalities, as well as opening Eastern Ukraine up for Hydraulic Fracking.

IMO – What makes growing more expensive is when farmers are required to purchase Monsanto GMO seeds as well as the expensive fertilizer – I found that people are actually willing to pay more for NGOP – The downside is indeed that NGOP have a much shorter shelf life — The upside, wait till you do the taste test – Nothing taste quite as good as GMO free organically grown vegetables.

If you consider it useful that it was worthwhile indeed.

How would you describe yourself politically if I may ask?

Me, I’m strongly opposed the fallacious and ongoing GWOT and which appears to be a cunning smoke screen for introducing deceptively termed Free Trade Agreements.

My political Conception , which I formulated in 2012 as Statement to Jacques Martin’s Book “When China rules the World”, reads >>> This One , who fits in into the IDEA of “TRUTH , HUMANITY & JUSTICE” and Grants it for the World , will rule the World ! The doubletongued West already lost it’ Claim !
