Gorbachev: Killing Could Have Been A Provocation, Aimed At “Destabilizing The Situation In The Country, At Heightening Confrontation” With The West

False Flag Terror?

Sniper attacks are commonly used as a form of false flag terror.

Former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev says the the killing is aimed at “destabilizing the situation in the country, at heightening confrontation” with the West.

Gorbachev says:

The assassination of Boris Nemtsov is an attempt to complicate the situation in the country, even to destabilize it by ratcheting up tensions between the government and the opposition.

The Saker notes that Putin warned years ago that a false flag of this nature might occur.

Michael Rivero notes:

Another reason to doubt the “Blame Putin” chorus we are already seeing in the corporate media is the manner in which the shooting took place, in public, in front of the girlfriend, to generate the maximum publicity. If Putin had really wanted to kill this guy, it would have been a “suicide” in private or a small plane crash, the way the US Government handles assassinations.

    Yep, false flag for sure.

Glad you posted this. There’s just no way Putin would have done this right now, if ever. Obviously no one knows for sure who did it, but it certainly works as an escalation of the amazing US buildup against Russia.

In 1946, the Nuremberg Tribunal prosecutor said of the German media:

“The use made by Nazi conspirators of psychological warfare is well known. Before each major aggression, with some few exceptions based on expediency, they initiated a press campaign calculated to weaken their victims and to prepare the German people psychologically for the attack …. In the propaganda system of the Hitler State it was the daily press and the radio that were the most important weapons.”

In the US, the shameless conspiracy theory that Putin did it will be treated as undeniable fact, and will be used to further prepare the public mind for the ongoing US assault on Russia.

We must all work to make this buildup of US aggression/bloodlust fizzle out and amount to nothing more than it already has.

I agree fully, thank you for stating it so clearly. Here’s what I don’t understand though. They’re pretty much willing and able to do anything they want WITHOUT public consent (Iraq war, etc.) So why do they keep doing this shite!?

      • Robert Barsocchini

From what I’ve seen in internal documents and opinion polls, I think public consent is actually very important to them. Like the Nuremberg tribunal found, Hitler was all about manufacturing public consent, too. If anyone shouldn’t have cared about the public, it was him. But he actually worked for and achieved huge support. The public, if mobilized, can ruin things for ugly governments.

Obama desperately needs some legitimization for his claims of Russian aggression that won’t show up as a some old modified picture from a different war.

Only in America could one find so gullible a population willing and desiring to believe that everything they see is not a lie.

Maybe America’s “Pravda” moment is coming.

Really? Seriously your blaming Obama? Obama wants to unseat Putin so he kills the leader of the opposition? That makes sense. But if people don’t buy that one try blaming it on the Israelis.

    • Woodshedding

Agree with everything except that Obama has enough power to make decisions like this (I personally doubt that he would anyway, but who knows…) But we need to stop talking about Obama and start talking about Rothschild, etc.

These assertions are so clear to anyone who can think – if Putin had wanted him dead, it wouldn’t have been in front of Kremlin, MUCH LESS immediately before the yearly Opposition March.

Now, if we could only get people to learn to think….
