Confirmed: U.S. Armed Al Qaeda to Topple Libya’s Gaddaffi

The U.S. “Switched Sides” to Support Al Qaeda

We reported in 2012 that the U.S. supported Al Qaeda in Libya in its effort to topple Gadaffi:

The U.S. supported opposition which overthrew Libya’s Gadaffi was largely comprised of Al Qaeda terrorists.

According to a 2007 report by West Point’s Combating Terrorism Center’s center, the Libyan city of Benghazi was one of Al Qaeda’s main headquarters – and bases for sending Al Qaeda fighters into Iraq – prior to the overthrow of Gaddafi:

The Hindustan Times reported last year:

“There is no question that al Qaeda’s Libyan franchise, Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, is a part of the opposition,” Bruce Riedel, former CIA officer and a leading expert on terrorism, told Hindustan Times.

It has always been Qaddafi’s biggest enemy and its stronghold is Benghazi.

Al Qaeda is now largely in control of Libya.  Indeed, Al Qaeda flags were flown over the Benghazi courthouse once Gaddafi was toppled.

(Incidentally, Gaddafi was on the verge of invading Benghazi in 2011, 4 years after the West Point report cited Benghazi as a hotbed of Al Qaeda terrorists. Gaddafi claimed – rightly it turns out – that Benghazi was an Al Qaeda stronghold and a main source of the Libyan rebellion.  But NATO planes stopped him, and protected Benghazi.)

The Daily Mail reported yesterday:

A self-selected group of former top military officers, CIA insiders and think-tankers, declared Tuesday in Washington that a seven-month review of the deadly 2012 terrorist attack has determined that it could have been prevented – if the U.S. hadn’t been helping to arm al-Qaeda militias throughout Libya a year earlier.

‘The United States switched sides in the war on terror with what we did in Libya, knowingly facilitating the provision of weapons to known al-Qaeda militias and figures,’ Clare Lopez, a member of the commission and a former CIA officer, told MailOnline.

She blamed the Obama administration for failing to stop half of a $1 billion United Arab Emirates arms shipment from reaching al-Qaeda-linked militants.

‘Remember, these weapons that came into Benghazi were permitted to enter by our armed forces who were blockading the approaches from air and sea,’ Lopez claimed. ‘They were permitted to come in. … [They] knew these weapons were coming in, and that was allowed..

‘The intelligence community was part of that, the Department of State was part of that, and certainly that means that the top leadership of the United States, our national security leadership, and potentially Congress – if they were briefed on this – also knew about this.’

‘The White House and senior Congressional members,’ the group wrote in an interim report released Tuesday, ‘deliberately and knowingly pursued a policy that provided material support to terrorist organizations in order to topple a ruler [Muammar Gaddafi] who had been working closely with the West actively to suppress al-Qaeda.’

‘Some look at it as treason,’ said Wayne Simmons, a former CIA officer who participated in the commission’s research.

The same thing is happening in Syria. The U.S. “switched sides” and is supporting our arch enemy Al Qaeda.

Specifically, the Benghazi “embassy” became the CIA headquarters for transferring – after Gaddaffi fell – weapons in Libya to the Syrian Al Qaeda rebels, as confirmed by Pulitzer prize winning reporter Sy Hersh.

“Switched sides”? That’s a rich one. The US CREATED Al Qaeda to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan and Al Qaeda worked with NATO as far back as the war in Bosnia.

Bingo. I think though, it’s meant more of “nominally switched sides”, the significance being the betrayal of the supposed goals of the supposed war on terror. Not to argue with you because you are correct after all. And this blog’s authors know this as well. But much of the sheeple aren’t even the least bit aware of the facts as you’ve stated, and equally ignorant of the Libya situation, and it’s too damn bad. Cuz if everyone knew… Who knows, we might actually all band together to put an end to the chicanery. Might being the operative word.

The globalist banksters could not allow Ghaddafi to form a North African coalition, with the gold dinar as its monetary base. They also wanted to control the immense water supply sitting below the sands. The minute Muammar was assassinated and an interim government was formed, the IMF came in with a proposition they COULDN’T refuse, and all the weapons he accumulated were warehoused and readied for reshipment to the FSA in Syria.

The US government could shut down just about any crime syndicate or terrorist network on the planet. But it is more beneficial to USE them for their own gain. You shouldn’t find it odd by now that in 80 plus years of the Govs war on criminal enterprises, that they have not shut down large ONE crime family/enterprise. The only ones that get busted are homegrown wannabees that could hardly compete with what the government gets away with.

The government is knee deep in all of it. Drugs (at least since the 1860′s), Human trafficking, prostitution, slavery, fraud, terrorism.

But hey…. Its a good thing we have government to keep us safe.

When is Eric Holder going to indefinitely detain the people in the U.S. government who armed and associated with terrorists?

These are war crimes. Bush and Obama are both war criminals and traitors. It is a war crime to attack another country without provocation. It is a war crime to assasinate the head of a state. It is a war crime to drop bombs on residential areas. It is not “switching sides” for the US government to support Al-CIA-da in overthrowing governments. It is exactly why the US government, along with globallist elite members of the CFR, started Al-CIA-da in the first place. Everyone would know the truth if we had a free press but the same globalist elite members of the CFR own all of the major news outlets in the world, not just in the US.
