2014 Gallup International poll: US #1 threat to world peace

Hat tip: RT

“The world now demands a maturity of America that we may not be able to achieve. It demands that we admit we have been wrong from the beginning of our adventure in [war], that we have been detrimental to the life of the [target nations’] people.” – Martin King, Beyond Vietnam

Gallup International’s poll of 68 countries for 2014 found the US as the greatest threat to peace in the world, voted three times more dangerous to world peace than the next country.

Among Americans, we overall voted our own nation as the 4th most dangerous to peace, and with demographics of students and 18-24 year-olds also concluding the US as the world’s greatest threat.

Opinion aside, we can objectively evaluate the US threat to peace, as younger Americans seem to be doing:

So, what do we do as Americans in support of ending lawless US Wars of Aggression, an obvious action for world peace?

The American public has a HUGE opening to voice demands during the 2014 Worldwide Wave of Action that begins ~April 4 on the anniversary of Martin King’s assassination by the US government (civil court trial verdict), and completing ~July 4. The purposes of the 2014 Worldwide Wave of Action:

Well, sane people hope the dollar crshes and burns when the yuan and the ruble is used to pay for asian/eastern gas/commerce. bring it on Russia and China. Stop the nation of death – the ugliest nation in the known universe.

    • A thinker

The ruble is practically worthless and the yuan is artificially bolstered by the communist single party Chinese dictatorship. No open market, no discussion, no dissent. We couldn’t even have this blog post or its ensuing comments in either Russia or China without fear of prosecution, prison, disappearance or death.

Can you please post a link to a source for this ? “Earth has had 248 armed conflicts. The US started 201 of them.”

    • Laozi

There’s a lot of bad news, information war.

    • Rework Oh Ryan

Stop sending your children to die in wars that have nothing to do with American freedom! Terrorism is a lie concocted to forward the interests of the UN to dominate the world. We are the strength and we must not be misled anymore. If the military throws down their weapons, what do they have? Nothing! WE must reduce them to NOTHING. Wake up, good people. WAKE UP! We create our destiny everyday and if continue to have blind allegiance, this is dangerous to us. Listen to the conspiracy “nuts” – they are telling the truth. Research and connect the dots. The will of the people is greater than any army.

    • Andy

That is extremely insulting to all of the people around the world who have died in terrorist attacks. FYI – they’re called ‘nuts’ for a reason, because they are mentally unstable, concocting theories based off of paranoia and coincidences and persuading gullible and naive people to believe them. It sounds like you belong in that category.

    • Andy

Although I do agree with you that blind allegiance is detrimental and many wars are pointless and fought for greed. Still, using conspiracy theories as your backup doesn’t do your argument any justice.

      • Carl_Herman

This article is about US unlawful and lie-began wars resulting in public opinion around the world concluding the US is the most dangerous nation, Andy.

Thanks for helping motivate people to find the facts to refute “nuts” like you. The facts show it’s the .01% “leaders” who lie and have these wars (among other crimes) who are “mentally unstable.”

Oh, Andy, btw: better choose carefully who you work for; you’ll have exactly what you deserve.

  • Douglas Johnson

All the conflicts you see have the same ones backing them whether internal or external one goverment shooting everybody

  • mark bland

We went too far in 2003 when we invaded a country just so one impotent son could try to undo his own father’s impotence.

  • Pac

Well we are the #1 against terrorism..
We killed terrorists and anyone else who threatens our freedom.

Quoting the obvious: It is essential to the corporate american war machine that Hillary Rodham Clinton Inc. & the Clinton Rothchild DNC ILLuminate Mafia secure the White House in order to preserve the Parasitical Domain.

  • acconfold

Hogwash CTs. Please cite your sources or take it down. Off the bat, the US as a major player in Vietnam in 1955? C’mon man, it was still the French’s then, and their war. Otherwise, why is Afganistan *officially* the America’s longest war? Because they have the citations and references, and you sir, have stretched the truth too far. Far enough for it to be partial fiction, partial fact, in the attempt to sway gullible minds. Adios, I’m out.
