Kennedy Conspiracy Theories Go Mainstream … 50 Years After Assassination

The CIA and FBI Hid Information from the Warren Commission

Preface: Some “conspiracy theories” are true, and some are false. Each must be judged on its own merits.

A solid majority of Americans have always believed that John F. Kennedy’s assassination involved a conspiracy.

But now that view is starting to be discussed by mainstream power players.

Current Secretary of State John Kerry said recently:

To this day, I have serious doubts that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I certainly have doubts that he was motivated by himself.

Watergate reporter Bob Woodward long ago became a mainstream, establishment journalist.

But Woodward – and long-time CBS news anchor Bob Schieffer – agree that the CIA and FBI refused to give information to the Warren Commission, and so that Commission was in the dark as to what might actually have happened:

And CBS News reports:

It has long been known that the Warren Commission, the blue ribbon panel of public officials appointed by former President Lyndon Johnson to investigate the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy, was flawed in ways that led to generations of conspiracy theories about what happened on Nov. 22, 1963. A forthcoming book from former New York Times reporter Philip Shenon digs into exactly what the commission got wrong, both by intentional concealment, or, in Shenon’s view, extensive attempts by both the CIA and FBI to withhold just how much they knew about Kennedy assassin Lee Harvey Oswald in the weeks and months before he killed the president.

“In many ways, this book is an account of my discovery of how much of the truth about the Kennedy assassination has still not been told, and how much of the evidence about the president’s murder was covered up or destroyed – shredded, incinerated, or erased – before it could reach the commission,” Shenon writes in the prologue to A Cruel and Shocking Act: The Secret History of the Kennedy Assassination, which draws its title from the first sentence of the commission’s report. “Senior officials at both the CIA and the FBI hid information from the panel, apparently in hopes of concealing just how much they had known about Lee Harvey Oswald and the threat that he posed.”

In fact – as the Washington Post reports – official investigators have long said there was a conspiracy and a cover up:

The Church Committee, a Senate-led investigation in 1976 into the CIA and FBI, concluded that the 888-page Warren Report may have been insufficiently thorough and suppressed key evidence, giving legs to the persistent belief that a cover-up was involved.

By 1979, the U.S. House Select Committee on Assassinations determined that the assassination was “probably” the result of a conspiracy. Indeed, four years after that report, public perceptions of a conspiracy hit their peak at 80 percent.

(Similarly, it is well-documented that the 9/11 Commission was deceived by the U.S. military and other branches of the government. No wonder even the Commissioners themselves are calling for a new investigation.)

The Kennedy Administration was an unmitigated disaster. JFK was the Barack Obama of his era. In many ways it was a blessing in disguise that JFK was assassinated. JFK was a hedonist madman addicted to painkillers, who brought the world to the very brink of nuclear war. He was an unfit president.

The fact that JFK has been forever martyred in the media and Hollywood since his assassination is one of the supreme ironies of how Americans view their political system. All that is necessary for young Americans today to begin to understand this irony, would be for them to consider what would happen if Barack Obama were assassinated tomorrow. What would happen?

ObamaCare, which is now slated for being repealed would be shoved down the throats of Americans. The name of Obama would be canonized into phony-sainthood, when in fact, Barack Obama is just a Chicago hood, just as were the Kennedy’s Boston hoods. Joe Kennedy, JFK’s father, was as much a Boston gangster as was the more recent murderous mobster James “Whitey” Bulger.

Like the Obama Administration, the Kennedy Administration spent insanely. And they wanted to spend more. The Kennedy Administration devised a scheme to get around the limitations of budget restraints that shackled all previous presidents since Lincoln. It is common for alternative media to praise what Kennedy did. In June of 1963, Kennedy signed Executive Order 11110, authorizing the US Treasury to print a new form of silver certificate. Kennedy issued $4,292,893,825 of cash money, free of debt and free of interest. We can only imagine the inflation rate we would see today were this print-your-way-into-heaven (and the moon) executive order not rescinded after Kennedy’s assassination. No elected government is capable of fiscal restraint.

JFK should be remembered for the Bay of Pigs invasion of sovereign Cuba that was such an asinine and bloody disaster, and, JFK should be remembered for the Cuban missile crisis, which was the direct result of the provocative presence of American nuclear missiles in Turkey, just over the border from the USSR. Kennedy lied to the country about each disastrous episode.

The disaster of the JFK legacy did not end when he was assassinated, as Lyndon Johnson used a media-inspired “grieving nation” to push through his own disastrous series of Democratic-agenda measures including Civil Rights legislation that morphed into affirmative action, and his war on poverty with the Great Society legislation that morphed into today’s nation-sickening welfare state.

America was a satanic scientific nuthouse during the Space Race under Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon. The technological legacy of the Space Race is a great many global threats we all live with today. These include the ICBM, widespread computerization of large segments of an over-industrialized society, -and-, the all accompanying nuclear and chemical waste from coast to coast.

Einsenhower gave the country its interstate highway system and an immortal caveat about the military-industrial complex. Kennedy gave us ICBM’s and widespread scientific-industrial pollution, which was the direct result of embracing the military-industrial complex as the road to riches. The vast delusion of the time, was all about, going onward and upward into godliness through science! Look where it got us.

In many ways, the JFK Administration epitomized the vast eastern elitism and corruption the kinky Commonwealth of Massachusetts is best known for today. Its raw and crass intellectual hubris dragged the country down for decades. Nowadays Massachusetts gives the country elitist/socialist, social-climbing ideologues like John Kerry, Elizabeth Warren and Deval Patrick. They each pay lip-service to the phony legacy of the JFK myth.

And why not? The aspirations of generations of political aspirant/deviants come out the same ridiculous intellectual model. They still teach it in schools today, that scientific man is going to rule the cosmos.

What a stinking bullshit idea that is. JFK is the one who coined the phrase, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” Well, what I can do for my country, is to tell the truth about the JFK myth. It’s dangerous as hell. It’s immoral, categorically.

Most of all JFK should remind every American, what a bunch of conniving, murderous, assassinating bastards there are in American politics. Every political assassination in the history of our Republic has suffered a cover-up. Our American politicians turn those they have assassinated gods, because it makes those who planned the assassination all that much more powerful.

    • The opposite of what Tonto said.

    • ZackForester

I just have one question, Tonto. How do you manage to type so much bullshit when your head buried so far up your own ass?

    • Gil G

Exactly, the notion JFK was an inside assassination is predicated on the myths that Oswald was an ordinary guy with no connections and no real gun experience while JFK was a renegade President who would dismantle the military industrial complex and restore Libertarian-style freedoms to the people. When in reality Oswald was a sharpshooter and had known Communist connections whereas JFK was, as you pointed, like Obama – he could give the impression of change when he was a staunch anti-Communist, greenlit many programs to assassinate Castro as well as laid the groundwork for the Vietnam War. Had he been allowed to live and his health didn’t fully fail him then nothing would have changed and he would have gotten the backlash Obama has for creating no real change.

      • WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!
Why did the CIA kill JFK? As Hunt explained, everyone in the CIA loathed President Kennedy, who had left over 1400 CIA mercenaries to be slaughtered or captured during the Bay of Pigs debacle, and who was pushing “treasonous” plans for peace with Cuba, Vietnam, and even the Soviet Union. Additionally, Kennedy was going all out to shut down Israel’s nuclear weapons program, trying to end the Federal Reserve’s private currency monopoly, and threatening oilmen’s profits by ending the depletion allowance. Though the American people loved JFK, America’s corrupt elite hated him.

Oswald barely qual’d sharpshooter once and on his only other range qual he shot marksman (the lowest qualifying badge) and in the Marine Corps that ain’t anything to brag about. That boy couldn’t shoot worth a damn.

      • Spence45

Being a “Sharpshooter” in the military is nowhere near the same thing as being a Sniper, nowhere. As well as the fact that even a very accomplished sniper could not accomplish the things associated with the “Magic Bullet” theory, even if given the type of equipment used today by such a killer. Something Oswald did not possess. Kennedy may well have not been perfect, but nothing he had done warranted public execution. The simple fact is that those who had the most to gain from such an event as well as the means to cover it up would be the Military Industrial Complex, i.e. LBJ & the C.I.A., they had the most to loose, and the most to gain.

Whatever merit there may be in your comment, its credibility is enhanced — not detracted — by the ad hominem. If someone can’t refute you on the merits but can only resort to name-calling, the name calling actually reinforces the the points you’re making whether those points are, in fact, accurate or misguided.

Your point about our political culture in Massachusetts is well-taken. There’s opposition to the political elitism and corruption that flourishes here, but the opposition isn’t strong enough to overcome it.

    Lyndon Johnson Killed JFK …..

Washington’s Blog, how about a short book review of James Douglass’ JFK and The Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why It Matters? It’s a stunning piece of research and synthesis on the modus operandi behind the assassination. It’s also a great teaching exercise in the development of a greater understanding of the layers of deception used to carry off major operations and control the flow of information – a useful tool to understand many aspects of 9/11 as a false flag attack.

  • Rothschild-Israeli Ties to JFK
AMERICAN FREE PRESS is pleased to be the first publication ever to report on the findings of Maurice Phillipps—an otherwise unheralded researcher —who uncovered the never-before-revealed Rothschild banking dynasty connection to a key player linked to the JFK conspiracy.
Here’s the story, one which should force JFK researchers—at least the honest ones—to take a whole new look at the death of the president.

When an agency can operate Top Secret with no checks or balances, this is what happens. They say it is for National Security, what a con job.

  • D’oh!

If Oswald was such a good shot, why did he miss Gen. Walker, a sitting target, in the days prior to 11/22/1963? It’s hard to believe that the same man put two shots into JFK inside of six seconds with a bolt-action rifle with a poorly adjusted scope.

      1. maybe he did, and maybe he didn’t…
but it sure made for a good story to frame him ! (pun intended)
      2. even more interesting, are the misadventures of ozwald the rabbit in his ‘defecting’ and ‘undefecting’; oddly enough, dovetailing almost exactly with a sea eye ehh program to have spooked up citizens DO EXACTLY THAT, what are the odds !
      3. again, for a nebbish, nothing, nobody of a lone nut youngster, he sure had gotten around a LOT, AND ends up marrying a major KGB officer’s daughter ? ? ?

that rabbit hole is so full of dead ends and false leads, you will be lucky to find your way out…

(not like it is to some spooks benefit that those waters are so muddied, no one will ever believe whatever metaphysical truth is hidden there… mission accomplished ! ! !)
      huh ?
