9/11 Commission Chair: Director of Intelligence James Clapper Should Be Indicted for Perjury regarding NSA Spying

Hamilton Says Americans Should Be More Outraged About Spying Abuses

The co-chairs of the 9/11 Commission – Lee Hamilton and Thomas Keane – slammed the NSA last month, saying that spying was out of control.

As the Herald Times reported Saturday, Hamilton has now become  more outspoken:

Former U.S. Rep. Lee Hamilton, D-Ind., who is now the director of the Center on Congress at IU, used the sharpest language in criticizing the institution where he had worked for three decades.

“The amount of misinformation about government surveillance programs is simply astounding and appalling,” Hamilton said, going on to say he is waiting for Attorney General Eric Holder to indict U.S. Director of Intelligence James Clapper on charges of perjury for saying his agencies were not spying on Americans, which was later debunked by Snowden’s leaks about programs that mine data from companies such as Verizon.

Hamilton was pronounced in his condemnation of the NSA and the legislators who have enabled the secret courts that allow spy programs to operate with inadequate oversight, repeatedly emphasizing activity that he considered “OUT-rageous,” describing the amount of information that is in the hands of the NSA as “mind-boggling.” It would “knock your socks off,” he said.

[Hamilton] blamed legislators for creating the laws that constrain their ability to tell the American public what U.S. spy agencies are up to.

But, on the whole, [Hamilton] joined the other panelists in painting a grim outlook for privacy and people’s perspectives on it. What has been completely missing, he said, is “public outrage” over Snowden’s leaks.

“Welcome to the world of mega data. You are going to be living with it for the rest of your life,” Hamilton said. “What concerns me is the potential for abuse. Once you give government power, government does not relinquish that power. When you look at these programs, you need to think of what they do now, but you also have to think of what they will become in perpetuity.”

This is Lowkey’s 2010 epic song questioning ‘What is a Terrorist’. It’s already a classic worth revisiting and is especially relevant on 9/11 and in light of Syria’s recent plight….. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmBnvajSfWU

This guy is one of the major facilitators of the 911 coverup. If the truth about 911 were known there would be no war on terror, no DHS, and the NSA could not hide behind the Patriot Act. Clapper should be clapped in irons, no doubt, but so should Hamilton.

This is not going to get better until there are Special Prosecutors assigned to the Benghazi, IRS and NSA investigations. There are too many investigations going on that are going nowhere. IRS continues to target special groups, Holder, Clinton and Clapper lied to Congress and no perjury charges. Holder has investigated Fast and Furious? That’s hilarious. NOTHING is being done and NO ONE is being held accountable for any wrongdoing. Obama has committed more impeachable acts than all the Presidents going back to NIxon combined, and NOT a PEEP from Congress about his overreaching assumption of power. Boehner needs to appoint a special Prosecutor for Benghazi and if he won’t he needs to step down or the House needs to overide him some way. Boehner can’t be allowed to obstruct justice. That’s a crime in my world. When did crime cease to be a crime? It seems that Legislators think they are above the Law. No one is above the law, that is what makes America Great. Yes, even the President can be arrested even though he thinks not. The Congress needs to take it’s power back or the people will be forced to change Congress.

The Alternative press(which I use to distinguish from the MSM establishment owned by six like mined people of questionable patriotism). Must organize itself loosely to 1) continue the attacks on the NSA, and mount legal challenges against Holder ( yes, the puppet that controls the keys to law enforcement) and Clapper and friends for not Protecting their main jobs serving at the pleasure of the American People. 2) continue to show the loyalties of the current owners. and the links to the multi-national corporations these folks hide behind. 3) mount a legal challenge to the Senates foolish attempt to describe and codify a journalist and journalism. 4)Form a new Association and join the National press corp. 5) Keep the narrative straight forward and shine the lights on these criminals.

Lastly, If you are finding yourself on one side of the party system or another . . step out from behind the charade of sectarianism in all its forms and stop allowing the divide and concur games or you really will lose this country to globalists who blur the lines so even intelligent people are confused..
