Piers Morgan Debates Alex Jones on Guns

    Piers Morgan – who regularly hangs out with the
    architect of drone strikes which have killed almost 200 children –
    really took the biscuit when he called Alex Jones “scary” in a Politico
    interview following last night’s already infamous CNN confrontation.

    Morgan, who has cited the deaths of 20 children in the
    Sandy Hook school massacre to push for gun control, is best buddies with
    Barack Obama and regularly attends White House functions in which he is photographed with the President.

    Yet Obama has personally ordered drone strikes which
    have killed thousands of innocent people, including nearly 200 children.
    Last time I checked, Morgan wasn’t calling for “drone control” in order
    to save the lives of innocent kids slaughtered in cold blood by order
    of his friend in the Oval Office.

    Jones is clearly insane, and it’s only a debate when both sides answer questions. Not when someone keeps shouting utter nonsense throughout.
    In response to Morgan’s “do you know what the largest number of people killed” question (which he had to ask a dozen times in order to get through Jones hysteria) Jones replied “wall street bombing.”
    Never has an ad for stricter gun controls ever been presented than by letting this loon spout off on TV.

      As a gun owner I’m truly concerned the way Alex Jones behaved last night. Now the ignorant masses in this country are going to stigmatize gun owners in America displaying the same behavior as Mr. Jones did. Sometimes I tend to think that Alex is in the payroll of the FBI and DHS (agent provocateur), and last night was a good indicator of such hypothesis.

        There really isn’t anything our government does that would surprise me, this included. I’m quite sure there are many (and I have no idea what the numbers are) legitimate, decent people who own guns.
        This guy isn’t one of them.

      That was the best entertainment I’ve seen in years.
      Piers Morgan was using the same old “pimping” technique used to corner and subdue the guest. It’s used throughout media both Right and left. They ask targeted pointed questions whose answers only bolster the opinions of the questioner and degrade the guest. This Jones guy wouldn’t take the bait and thoroughly destoyed Morgan in the process. That was pure enteryainment and completely worth watching – heck I’m going to watch it again…and again…

        I didn’t know it was called a “pimping” technique but thank you, Mike, for pointing out that Piers took a very condescending, patronizing tone, which is now a very popular strategy to force the guest onto the defensive. I see it on the web all the time, in comment sections. Trolls will demand antagonistically that other people provide detailed evidence, footnotes (!), sources, etcetera, whereas they provide nothing. I noticed that Piers didn’t answer a single question; he just kept trying to set the terms of the argument. I’m glad Alex resisted, even if he had to go ballistic to do it.

        I have yet to see the follow-up Piers interview of Alan Dershowitz, in which they talk about this performance by Alex Jones, and agree between themselves that Alex is insane and actually dangerous! I wish Alex Jones would sue them for slander or defamation of character. The irony of Alan Dershowitz, defender of the constitutionality of torture, accusing Alex Jones of being dangerous.

        I commend Alex Jones for having the self-restraint not to punch Morgan in his pompous, prissy face. I don’t know how he contained himself.

    Wow,…WOW…that was completely awesome. Piers Morgan just got his arss handed to him in spectacular fashion. This guy Jones (whom I’ve never heard of before) exposed him and made him look like a naked man with a very small penis in front of the entire world. Where did this Jones guy come from??? We need him to get on all the talk shows with all thses idiots and really give us some entertainment.
