Fukushima Radiation: Japan Irradiates the West Coast of North America

Painting by Jonathan Raddatz

Radiation from Japan’s nuclear accident has turned up in seaweed on the coasts of California, Washington and other parts of the West Coast of North America.

The ocean is so big … how could this be happening? Why didn’t the gigantic Pacific Ocean better dilute Fukushima radiation?

A 1955 U.S. government report concluded that the ocean may not adequately dilute radiation from nuclear accidents.

MIT says that seawater which is itself radioactive may begin hitting the West Coast within 5 years.

In 10 years, peak radioactive cesium levels off of the West Coast of North America could be 10 times higher than at the coast of Japan.

As we’ve previously noted, Reuters reports that Alaskan seals are suffering mysterious lesions and hair loss:

Scientists in Alaska are investigating whether local seals are being sickened by radiation from Japan’s crippled Fukushima nuclear plant.

Scores of ring seals have washed up on Alaska’s Arctic coastline since July, suffering or killed by a mysterious disease marked by bleeding lesions on the hind flippers, irritated skin around the nose and eyes and patchy hair loss on the animals’ fur coats.

“We recently received samples of seal tissue from diseased animals captured near St. Lawrence Island with a request to examine the material for radioactivity,” said John Kelley, Professor Emeritus at the Institute of Marine Science at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

“There is concern expressed by some members of the local communities that there may be some relationship to the Fukushima nuclear reactor’s damage,” he said.

Here’s a picture of one of the injured seals:

We reported yesterday that a new scientific paper shows that the Fukushima radioactive plume contaminated the entire Northern hemisphere during a relatively short period of time, and Ene News today reports on a potential correlation:

(Note the blue line):

Map of Marine Life Deaths:

(The correlation is not exact … but close enough to ask whether the radioactive plume hit Western Alaska and was then carried around the coast by ocean currents.)

Radioactive fish are also being found off the West Coast.

A California-sized island of debris from Japan is also hitting the West Coast.

And West Coast residents have also been exposed to Fukushima radiation from the air.  See this, this and this.

Indeed, some doctors claim that people living on the West Coast have already been killed from Fukushima radiation.

Fukushima … the gift that keeps on giving.

Air pollution (VOC’s), Decaying radiation, Chemtrails all produce positive ions. Negative ions produced by acetic acid or vinegar will neutralize positive ions outdoors by condensing and clumping positively charged particles together while increasing gravity performance that literally pulls it to the ground, harmless. Unfortunately, radioactive rain is another story. Moisture pulled from a radioactive Pacific will find its way into our rain….food….bodies. The only way I know of purifying water is with ozone or by vibration. Japanese researchers know about this ….

Ions Can Do Strange Things To You

Researchers believe that through control of the electrical charges in the air we breathe, our moods, energy and health can be markedly improved.

Dr. Rominder Suri, a researcher in the Water and Environmental Technology Center, uses vibration and other methods to purify water.

Suri is also in the process of scaling water treatment methods involving the use of ultrasound and ion exchange. By sending sound waves through the water, he is able to create small cavities that kill foreign materials upon contact. By using ion exchange resins, he is able to remove contaminants from industrial wastewater. The benefit of this method is that these resins are reusable, which reduces overall costs.

528HZ SOUND “MIRACULOUSLY” CLEANED OIL POLLUTED WATER IN THE GULF OF MEXICO, ACCORDING TO A NEW STUDY BY A CANADIAN RESEARCHER

According to John Hutchinson, an electro-magnetic energy expert from Vancouver, B.C., Canada, a selection of “music” has helped purify poisoned water. The frequencies included the “sound of Jupiter,” recently recorded by NASA, vibrating close to 528Hz frequency.

Blaming the pain and suffering of seals in Alaska on Fukushima is merely an exercise in skapegoating. No evidence is necessary when extending such a bias…in this case blame everything on the radiation bogey man. It doesn’t matter that there is no connection whatsoever between the two, all you need is a few people saying they have concerns. The entire blog posting is a terrible fairy tale. Utterly repulsive. Let’s face it – this blog is severely prejudicial. Has it ever said anything positive about nuclear energy? Of course not – It’s a bigot’s rag!

More bad news possibly related, is the fact that the boreal forest around anchorage is dying. Burned. Probably ozone loss fron the xenon gas Fukushima released combining with Florine and making an ozone killer. I grow trees for a living and our farm is toast, literally, burned toast. All trees dried at the edges. Entire forest brown, especially birch. If the northern boreal forest dies, the carbon will about double. We cannot survive that type of change just as the trees cannot survive an instant UVB increase of 160%

    People sure are stupid.

      idiotically, sociopathically, short sighted

especially those still working behind the scenes in D.C. & elsewhere advocating for the nuclear energy industry.

The nuclear industry’s best self defense for their insanity would be for them to round up the Rockefeller/Bush criminal cabal that forced the Fukushima facility on Japan so the Rockefellers could radically increase their profits on the Nikkei. They also built it to blow it up on demand. IT IS UNDENIABLE that after just a few days of checking up on how the creators of the best automobiles, electronics, optics, and all at bargain prices, would do something so stupid as to cut down 100 feet of cliff to build the largest array of fission nuclear plants in the world in the middle of the most active tsunami zone on earth. With all the spent fuel in brittle cement ponds on top of the reactors and the emergency cooling out front. This ALL is undeniable. The Japanese only provided sub-contract work on this project that also needed to be licensed, commissioned, fueled, and signed off on by the Johnson and Nixon White House AEC. ALL undeniable. Send the nuke boosters to put on Haz-Mat suits and get on a plane to Fukushima to lead the containment effort or throw them on a a lobotomy table and go to town on them, and their families.

Many women here on the west central coast of Washington state are suffering alarming hair loss. Could this be related?

    • Erin

I live in San Diego and have had significant hair loss recently and some of my female coworkers have as well. I was also wondering if this could be related to the radiation. Very concerned.
