Wall Street Protest: Time for Conservative Endorsements

Big Liberal Endorsements for Wall Street Protest

Given that numerous unions (and see this) and progressive luminaries like Cornell West, Michael Moore, Bernie Sanders and Russel Simmons are joining the Wall Street protest, this may be painted by some as a “left-wing movement”.

Conservatives Support Protests

Of course, United Airlines pilots are not a particularly liberal group, but they joined in.

Indeed, conservatives such as Dylan Ratigan, Karl Denninger, and supporters of Ron Paul have also joined in to the protests.

The Divide-And-Conquer Technique Is Failing

I’ve repeatedly warned that there is a scripted, psuedo-war between Dems and Repubs, liberals and conservatives which is in reality a false divide-and-conquer dog-and-pony show created by the powers that be to keep the American people divided and distracted. See this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this and this. (In fact, the Founding Fathers warned us about the threat from a two party system.)

The Tea Party was quickly co-opted by the Republican Party:

Remember that one of the founders of the Tea Party – Karl Denninger – has slammed the current Tea Party (which was quickly co-opted by the mainstream GOP) for serving the rich and the Republican party instead of fighting against the giant banks, and is calling for non-partisan, Gandhi-style nonviolent resistance to take on the banskters.

Don’t let the Wall Street protests get hijacked by the mainstream Democratic Party.

Time for Big Conservative Endorsements

This is not a liberal or a conservative cause … it is both.

It is time for some big conservative endorsements, to rally around the non-partisan issues important to all Americans.

The Tea Party should endorse the protests, but so should the Oath Keepers, taxpayer rights groups, conservative Christians, limited government groups, and all other conservative groups.

A sign from the Wall Street protest shows that the people on the ground get it:

If this movement is co-opted by the Left like the Tea Party was by the Right the plutocrats and their toady’s have nothing to fear and should smile and drink champagne.

  • Jim-Bob

The thing that scares me and many conservatives is the Marxist overtones to what many of the protesters are saying. While I do recognize that much of what is wrong with the world’s economy is due to the actions of a few criminal bankers and the politicians they own, I fear that the legitimate concerns that many on both sides of the political divide have will be co-opted into a mass movement towards a Marxist/Leninist future for the US. Additionally, I do not want to lend my support to a movement that has Anti-Semitic overtones to it as, while I have issue with the actions of certain Jews, I have no issue with the Jewish people as a whole. Just remember that mass movements tend to take on a life of their own and many of those who join them at their inception end up at the wrong end of a gun before it is finished. In the end it is the group which has the best organization before the beginning of the mass movement that ends up steering it and all who are not on board with them eventually get cast aside like so many useful idiots who don’t possess the intellectual capital necessary to fully understand where it will end.

Well said Jim-Bob. Many of these protestors, who didn’t intend to be joining a Communist Revolutionary movement, will end up headless, like Robespierre, should it succeed in its hidden goals. Why once again, no one in the media will highlight the fact that it is organized by Communist Revolutionary groups like the World Workers Party is a mystery to me. Especially as I see banners for “workers.com” prominently featured in the photos. Just google it….

However, the harm done to “the world’s economy due to the actions of a few criminal bankers and the politicians they own” is small potatoes compared to the harm done by leftist ideologues and their complicit politicians. Solyndra is half a Billion dollars wasted, another Billion dollars given out today by DOE to soon to be bankrupt solar concerns, with 4 Billion more dollars to be handed out in the next few days.

How about “Operation Fast and Furious”, with some 2000 guns, many probably purchased with tax dollars, given to Mexican drug cartels, resulting in over 200 documented deaths and counting?

When Congress was warned that the mortage system, as mandated by the leftists in in Congress, was heading towards collapse, Barney Frank famously said “lets roll the dice”. Now HE is in charge of “reforming the system” ? http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122290574391296381.html

A “few criminals in the banking system” don’t bring the world economy to the brink of collapse. It takes a leftist media, leftist educational system, and congresses and parliments controlled by leftist ideologues, working overtime for decades, to bring about “transformative progressive change”, to accomplish that. As Reverend Jeremiah Wright said: “the chickens are coming home to roost”.

riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. because all the people on the right are without blame, and thus it’s all the leftys fault

  • Kolokol

The left blames the corporations, the right blames the government, but we are in an era where there is little difference. It is long past the time to throw the old parameters aside and focus on the reality and urgency of the current situation and set aside the ideologies. Support people who are consistent, have proven integrity and are moving in your direction even if you disagree about solutions. The time is now.

@Robert There are no leftists in Congress. The American choices are right and diet right. And that’s how we like it – our sodas, our suburban trucks, hell we don’t even recognize skinny people anymore, there’s “fat” and “on a diet.”

I’m being facetious but the fact remains that the illusion of political discourse and maintenance of the public’s trust have both completely shattered. There will always be propaganda fashioned out of actual events – this is a post-Goebbels world and there has never been a refutation by the fascist-media complex regarding his techniques. It’s just called “the news” most of the time, I wonder what we’ll call actual journalism in the future since that word has been co-opted.

The OccupyX movement is disjointed in focus, the way any non-subsidized political movement should be – this is because people arn’t ideologies first, they are individuals that come to a common enough idea that they can work together. I’ve heard people cry foul about how this will get pecked out like the Tea Party did by the GOP – this isn’t possible simply because the Democrats, as mentioned, are about as far left as Florida is on a US map. Their mouthpieces are things like Nice Polite Republicans, and MSNBC which should really be MS/GE. Everything on television is a well engineered lie or a glorified human interest piece – but, then again, who doesn’t love puppies? The problem is that varying brands of placating entertainment and wholesale lies give you no semblance of enrichment.

This isn’t meant to be a 90s style hurr-durr violent video games and rap music destroying America. People are very responsible for their own actions, but when all information available is faulty, incomplete, and probably some measure of lie stitched together in order to fit the agenda of the author, who can the public trust? Seriously, the most prophetic things to come out of published media in the last 20 years are the Robocop series of films. Robocop. Lee Iaccoca Middle School Robocop. Mechanized killing machines turned against the complicit taxpayers kept so through ignorance that indirectly funded the companies that engineered the killing machines Robocop. Huge tracts of the previously public land of Detroit being sold off to the highest bidder Robocop. That Robocop.

Think about that – out of all the visions of the future that we had to inspire us, we got Robocop. And since the very idea of “the hero” has been successfully relegated to the realm of “everyone” which actually means “nobody” translated back from newspeak, alongside the dead fighting in our current American resource and influence war, er, crusade. Its a crusade, not jostling for a sympathetic dictatorship that shares a border with China, totally not that. Sorry, Echelon, that slipped. That’s what the news really says: nobody is a hero, YOU (SPECIFICALLY YOU) can’t do a damned thing about it, and the government doesn’t work in mysterious ways. Don’t forget the 2 minute blocks of insipid ‘edutainment’ that boils down to “BUY OUR SHIT.”

The people are sick, and tired. We thought if we just did it harder that things would be alright. This is a meandering Sunday morning post, so why not – diminishing returns have been reached. Forget whatever the news is saying about subprime bubble crap – its all commentary based on fragments of information being said by people that have no clue what the hell they’re talking about but get paid a lot of money to look like they do. Bootstraps was the message of the Bush administration, under which we saw the rise of energy drinks in popular consumption – just do it harder and everything will be okay. The economy isn’t an engine – it is us. We arn’t steel, we are flesh – we bend and break. The only place this analogy holds is that it is overheated – people are worn out, tired, and broken down. The fundamentals of living on Earth have been forsaken for the fundamentals of living in America; it turns out that past a point a sort of diminishing returns kicks in on the wealth fabrication system employed by the financial caste, so they wound it tighter and tighter and suddenly, one day, it didn’t just stop printing money but imploded, creating a financial black hole that sucks everything down into it, providing the Fascist-Advertising complex with an entirely novel reason for all of us to stay indoors and gently caress our material possessions. The wreckage around the hole has been seeping – leaking us, drip drip onto the pavement. Money isn’t the lifeblood of prosperity, labor is. This is why the capitalist system is, eventually, doomed to failure unless extremely regressive force is employed. Maybe my fellow Americans are finally ready to accept that message. Consider this page occupied.

    Yeah, I mad.

Although conservative groups do share many of the same views outlined in this paper (http://ampedstatus.org/full-report-the-economic-elite-vs-the-people-of-the-united-states-of-america/), this analysis fails to name some of the culprits of evil power, namely union leaders (not members) and the Democratic Socialists Party/Communist Party of the USA. Don’t think the unions are partially responsible? Follow the campaign money. Explain their exemption from the 40% Obamacare tax, investigate the number of visits of Andy Stern to the White House, and ask telephone technician to explain “fix one, break two”.

The unions and Marxists have swept in and will take over. Your initial intentions of peaceful revolution have started to get ugly and violent and since these groups have recently called for violent revolution, you inadvertently handed them a good platform. Why do most conservatives now feel that this is just a “socialist” staged event – look only to the clinched fist you adopted as your symbol.

Like the BS propaganda that the Tea party is just a bunch of racists, the media both left and right, are doing a great job of labeling your movement as just a bunch of socialists/communists.

    Sad but true.

    Jesse Ventura – NWO’s Nightmare!

    Letter to the Ruling Class

You control our world. You’ve poisoned the air we breathe, contaminated the water we drink, and copyrighted the food we eat. We fight in your wars, die for your causes, and sacrifice our freedoms to protect you. You’ve liquidated our savings, destroyed our middle class, and used our tax dollars to bailout your unending greed. We are slaves to your corporations, zombies to your airwaves, servants to your decadence. You’ve stolen our elections, assassinated our leaders, and abolished our basic rights as human beings. You own our property, shipped away our jobs, and shredded our unions. You’ve profited off of disaster, destabilized our currencies, and raised our cost of living. You’ve monopolized our freedom, stripped away our education, and have almost extinguished our flame. We are hit… we are bleeding… but we ain’t got time to bleed. We will bring the giants to their knees and you will witness our revolution!

    Sincerely,

    The Serfs.

I’m a conservative Republican -at least I go to all the conventions and have registered as a republican for the last 20 years. It has been impossible to support Neocon Crony Capitalist Republicans since Bush ran, but I have stayed in the party because of Ron Paul. I will be out there November 5th in Dallas with the Occupy Dallas groups and the Ron Paul groups. I like a lot of what Michael Moore has done-his movies are entertaining and informative, even if he reaches the wrong conclusions as to the solutions for the problems he has exposed. – I protested in anti-war rallies prior to and after the Iraq invasion, even after I learned that Moveon.rog and Soros were funding them. Globalists will always try to preempt such movements. With their money, they usually can. Let them keep trying. Let them pay for the food and drinks -the day will soon come when they cannot control such populist movements, try as they may. That day may be coming soon. I don’t care if I am protesting with anarchists, socialist, communists or paleo-conservatives. We all have certain core issues in common that unite us -the main one is that we know something is really wrong with this country, and we do not want politicians, financial interests, media etc. largely controlled by selfish corrupt special intersts, whether they be AIPAC, corrupt Wall Street Financiers, oil companies or those groups that make up the military industrial complex. Contrary to the beliefs of many fools, these groups do not represent us -they do not serve the interests of America and Americans. This is not a Democrat/Republican issue- Ralph Nader is right -there is one party, call it the Republocrats or Demoglicans -it matters not -they serve the same intersts -and it’s not us. Or as George Carlin used to say -they belong to the same club- and WE’RE not in it.
