U.S. Support of Israeli War Against Gaza May Trigger Depression

Famed trend forecaster Gerald Calente is warning that America’s unconditional support of the brutal Israeli war on Gaza could lead to an oil embargo against the U.S. which would tip the U.S. into full-scale depression and induce panic food and fuel buying.

So if you were on the fence about whether or not the U.S. should continue to support the war against Gaza, your own economic self-interest should convince you that it is not.

Note: The U.S. will likely slide into a depression even if we stop supporting the war crimes in Gaza, but an oil embargo could accelerate the beginning of the depression.

  • The US is headed for depression in 2009 regardless of the Israeli occupation. Next week when the new President in sworn in, the stock markets will rally upwards of a 1000 points, then over the course of the next few weeks to months slowly reverse. By the end of the first quarter of 2009, it will be overly apparent that not even the new President will be able to save the Titanic from sinking. There are few markets in existence that the US cannot manipulate. The BDI is once such market. This index has fallen over 90% in the past six months. If these ships do not sail to our shores, well you can figure out fairly easily considering the consumption capacity of this country.Until confidence is restored in our government, its leaders citizens will continue to retract. Only prosecutions of willful wrong doing will correct this.Personally I shudder at the aspect that there are individuals serving time in federal prison who have done less than those still on the Governments current payroll. We need a revolution, we need it now. The constitution is quickly being dissolved into oblivion.
